Spent 4 nights at this very relaxing and beautiful resort at the quieter north end of Ngapali beach. What a gorgeous place! We loved it. Resort provided efficient and friendly pick-up and return to Thandwe airport, and on check-in we didn't have to wait long for our garden view bungalow.
There was a wonderful laidback and relaxing vibe at the hotel, with very charming and helpful staff. Our room was a good size, very cool, comfortable and well equipped. Nice bathroom layout with excellent lighting.
Our garden bungalow room had a terrace with sun beds and a parasol and we found it more private than the beach-front positions, which had rows of sun beds laid out in front of them all day, although obviously we didn't have the gorgeous sea view from our room! Our room 602 had a bit of noise from the road behind during the day and early morning, but not a big issue. All kept beautifully clean and gardens very lush.
Great to be able to use the free refillable water bottles around the hotel, and drinking water was free.
Great spa - I had a lovely pedicure and back massage in a smart, quiet and tranquil treatment room. Excellent!
Breakfast were delicious. Great choice of continental style foods, fresh fruit, local specialties, juices and eggs etc freshly cooked to order. We ate lunches at the beach front "Sunset Bar" - gorgeous salads and a choice of wine by the glass (sadly not the delicious Myanmar wine Aythaya by the glass) and then later on great cocktails in the 2 for 1 happy hour watching the wonderful sunset from the sand below. Magical!
Dinner was good quality but the same menu as lunch throughout our whole stay, so we also enjoyed walking or tuk-tuking to other local restaurants which made a change - and were better value.
Great walks along the beach. Local shops and stalls for snacks and gifts, but generally this is a very quiet and beautiful white beach and the whole experience is just gorgeous! We loved our stay here.
