"What can I say about the Amara Ocean. We had our third time a few weeks ago and it hasn't changed - a beautiful, very comfortable and peaceful hotel on one of the best beaches in the world. The staff is excellent (really doesn't get some other reviews that criticize them, this has never been our experience in 3 visits). We stayed a week and were happy. This hotel is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed (and we have traveled 30 years plus). Yes, it is not cheap, but is also worth the extra cost - the location is unique, it is very upscale, very peaceful, the food is very good and the staff is perfect. Sow anyone see results. If you want more lively and cheaper hotels, head to the south end of Ngapali Beach, But be warned that you will be more packed. Thank you once again to Lily, Ei Ei and all the staff for another great time in paradise. "

"The resort is small but really beautiful, full of flowers and really green. All villas are located next to the beach, which is sectarian, large, clean and very very empty. Sometimes you may meet some people There are no local sellers too! The food is delicious, the breakfast is really god. All meals can be served in your room or at the restaurant, which is clearly small 6 - 7 pounds. Rooms are also equipped with wifi, nice style and lots of places. Of course the service is of the same quality, starting from the receptionist to cleaning staff, waiters, spa ladies. All are smiling and helpful. When you spend a week, you will find yourself just arrived. And last but not least - don't think about Myanmar politics, just arrived, find the country beautiful and it's really safe."

"We discovered this bay on the north side of the airport while going around on electric bicycles on our last trip to Ngapali, and decided to stay here because we enjoyed snorkeling, and having Lots of boulders offshore. Amara Ocean stretches a lot of beauty, sandy beach, with separate bungalows right on the beach, or step back a bit. No problem - every bungalow has ocean views. The grounds are superbly landscaped with wooden, slatted walkways. The buildings are all made of teak - I wonder how many (if any) have been recycled teak, have seen some devastating images from North Shan State of the teak forest. Each bungalow is huge, with large sliding doors, and a "privacy screen" behind the headboard, So you can change in front of the closet without closing the curtains. The "art towels" are fantastic - folded towels / rolled like elephants when we arrive, and then kiss the swans. Embellishment services include jasmine flowers beside the bed and a sink. Bathroom has 2 sinks, large shower and separate toilet. One of my complaints is that, for a hotel that caters to German / European tourists, the robe is very small - more sized for Burmese people than we are bigger foreigners. The beds are very, very comfortable, and the pillows down are perfect - usually in upscale Myanmar hotels have very high pillows that aren't all comfortable. The food was excellent - we were impressed with the menu and the food quality. We have lived in Myanmar for almost 7 years and have our favorite dishes that they cater to perfection - pennywort salad, banana salad, squid curry. Western food is also very, very good - pasta carbonara with additional vegetables, and a large, full breakfast with fresh pastries, eggs, bacon, muesli, fruits and a choice of Asian noodles. The cocktails are very creative and very good, albeit expensive. We were offered a free cocktail one night to try, made with Kachin rice wine - a very creative and refreshing taste. The pool area is nice, although shows its age a bit. The seats were full while we were there because there were very few people at the time - I thought there were no more than 5 of us at any given time. But if it were more than adequate, with an example tour guide, then the seat might be hard to come by. The spas are fine - they are 50% off between 9 am and 12 pm, and I get a very good 90-minute deep tissue massage. Not quite as treatable as its name suggests, but still very good. One problem with the room we were staying in was that the AC was in the middle of the subdivision, so the middle part would have cold air, and the part I was in didn't get anything and it was quite hot and humid. They serve ginger tea very well afterwards. The staff are very friendly, and very helpful. They guarantee electric bicycles for us for 20,000 MMK per day, and also free bicycles. The resort is not near anything - there are no restaurants nearby as further south of the airport. But there are 2 restaurants on the beach - unable to confirm them because we didn't try them. Getting on an e-bike is the best way to get into town, or explore the area."

"This is the cutest, quietest and most beautiful place we have stayed. It was the only beach hotel we ever returned for twelve years of holiday together. After having such a nice vacation last year, we returned in March this year and stayed for seven days. The room was awesome and had the best sunset every night. The beach is quiet and beautiful, like a postcard. There are lots of benches under the shade on the beach and the pool is also great. Plenty of quiet space to read a book and admire the view. There is a poolside bar, which makes great cocktails with views of the sunset. The breakfast and dinner were delicious and lunch, we walked down the beach to a local restaurant that made a great local shrimp curry, Avocado salad and local grilled fish with beer or coconut water to drink. The staff at the hotel were very welcoming and the 'art towels' in the room were great! We will thoroughly recommend this wonderful hotel to adults who want to relax on a beautiful beach. We are sure we will come back another year."

"Amara Ocean Resort is the right choice for your perfect holiday. We were there with family to celebrate the new year and we experienced luxury services. The detailed design of the bungalow is cozy and well ventilated. The garden is very beautiful and you will see all the blooming flowers and greenery. I love the fresh seafood fusion created by their chefs and love the friendly staff. I can guarantee you won't regret it if you choose AMARA OCEAN RESORT for your perfect vacation."

"The resort is built in this tradition - in every respect - super special. The bungalows are elegantly and elegantly furnished, with a terrace overlooking the beautiful scenery of the sea. One can look for seashells on the long, deserted, beautiful beach and completely relax after one of the excursions. The dedicated and very capable resort manager, as well as the friendly and welcoming staff are always aware of our health, ensuring we are well taken care of. Also, delicious food and delicious ripe fruit made us wish we could postpone the impending breakup. We are happy to see you again."

"My husband and I visited the Amara Ocean resort from Wednesday 20 to Friday February 22. What a simple place. Lots of pristine beaches, rocky lakes to investigate when the tide recedes. There are only 24 - 26 bungalows and basically we have the beach. Highly recommend and we look forward to coming back in December with our 18 & 21 year old daughters."

"We stayed at the beautiful Amara Ocean Resort with our family in the new year and we had a great time. The resort is located on a beautiful sandy beach, where you will hardly be able to see anyone else. Our bungalows are beautifully crafted and decorated to provide a lot of privacy but also to the beach. This place is luxurious with a kind of barefoot feel. The staff are absolutely awesome."

"We are the only ones in the entire resort because August is not the season for collisions. . The best month is October - February. employees only work from 7 am to 9:30 in the off-season months. So for 2 nights we were alone on the resort. Super safe! This resort is beautiful to relax and unwind from stress. Since we are so close to nature at this resort, a lot of big scary animals (not dangerous but not beautiful) are there. I saw a big fat gray spider at 4 am in the bathroom. Lack of fresh fruit because this is not the season. It rained almost every day and was beautiful. If you're a rain lover and want to stay away from the heat, that's the best. . The beat is to have a view of the beach. It has direct access to the beach. Large swimming pool. Maximum 2 meters. Very good hotel. The best mode of transportation around the city is by tuktuk. It is cheap and negotiable for the remaining trips. We had a tuk tuk driver. . will wait for us when we have dinner and take us back to the resort. Very near the airport. Local restaurants are way cheaper than resorts. . Some great restaurants are k 2, 3 pots and all are close to the resort. The Queen of the Sea is a bit expensive when you choose your own catch. . But also not bad in taste."

"...Most hotels in Ngapali Beach are south of Thandwe Airport and have many accommodation options. However, while the beach is generally ok, it is not a beach where dreams are made. But if you're 10 minutes north from the airport, you'll come to the most perfect white sand beach you've ever seen. In the middle of this beach is Amara Ocean Resort. It's absolutely luxurious with only 24 extremely high quality mahogany houses just outside the beach and surrounded by incredible trees and trees. Stay here and have about 150 employees looking after you. Donith expects this level of luxury to be nothing, but the ultimate cost compared to other quality hotels is worth it. Food and drink prices are European, but you can eat BBQ fish on the beach just a two-minute walk away or have a restaurant 1 km away Summary - spend a little bit more and stay here. You will never regret it!"
