"I do not stay in the hotel but I went to the Amata to watch the sunset while having a cocktail. I absolutely love the place. The staff is so lovely and friendly. The cocktails are nice. The atmosphere is relaxed so I decided to stay for dinner. I didn't feel like local food so I ordered the greek salad. For dessert I had ice cream. Both very delicious. A bonus is the happy hour from 5pm to 8pm. That makes the cocktails very affordable :-). I definitely recommend this place."

"Me. Min Min was an awesome bartender. He really knows what he is doing. He is open to drinks which are not on the Menue and gives really nice recommendations!!! Happy Hour from 5-8pm. I know what I am talking about because I am a bartender myself so go here and enjoy!!"

"Up from the greetings at the airport by their client officer we are overwhelmed by the friendliness of the staff. The resort and beach are very clean and well maintained. Our superior room is spacious. We had an excellent seafood BBQ here and it was good value for 15 USD. What we enjoyed most were the outstanding cocktails created by their bar manager, Min Min, who worked for many years at 5* hotels in Singapore. He created each evening all kind of cocktails depending on our mood. It was a such nice and relaxing time here. We will surely come back!"

"Amata is perfectly located on an idylic beach, offers great quality infrastructure (beautifull garden, common, pool...), good clean spacious rooms, lovely service, really really good kitchen. Price (100€/night) is a bit high but that micro-region is expensive."

"We celebrated my mother's 70th here and the food was outstanding. The view of the ocean was second to none and the staff were friendly and accommodating. It was a bit pricey but the view alone was worth it."

"If you’re going for a relaxing holiday as a couple or as family this is the resort I would recommend. I have been to many hotels in Ngapali this resort I find has a cater for everyone. We went there as a family even though we booked separate rooms for our kids we found our room is big enough for the whole family to stay with upstairs as a bedroom for ourselves. Own private yard and pool makes us feel like we own a house with a butler service right on the beach when you pay just the normal Ngapali prices. Yes Ngapali beach is expensive compared to even Bali or Phuket. Hotel grounds are amazingly landscaped like a rain forest. You can feel you’re in another world as soon as you walk into the hotel compound. They maximize the configuration and view of every space they have available, so I must give thumbs up to the architect. If you’re into activities you should definitely try Balloon Over Ngapali by Oriental Balloons because my first time on the balloon experience made me decide I will ride Balloons everywhere I go. It was worth every cent we spent. At the hotel not so exciting activities such as paddle board and Kayak to hire at the hotel. There are a few water activities at near by islands that you can go by hiring a boat. Food in Ngapali is quite exciting compared to any other beaches in Myanmar so it’s a must try. I would give 5⭐️ to the service and staff friendliness 5⭐️ cleanliness and the property facilities 5⭐️ food and spa 4⭐️ beach and water visibility (but a few hundred yard walk up north is a 5⭐️ water and rock free sands so relaxing on the beach 🏖 whole day still is 5⭐️ 4⭐️ value for money (this is the most star I would give for any hotel In Ngapali though) 4⭐️ sustainability ( still using plastic bottles in most rooms and house keeping throwing plastic bags bins which are not full , instead of emptying the bins) I hope my information is useful for those who wants to travel to Ngapali."

"I stayed 5 nights at the Amata and was very pleased with just about everything; the location, the food, my room with a very comfy bed and especially the staff that was so nice and provided the best service. Also I would like to mention their eco-friendly policy, with for example no plastic straws. I would especially like to thank May Thazin Hmway at the reception and restaurant manager May Thu Nyunt Aye who both made my days exceptionally enjoyable. I really hope to return some day."

"The place was made with great taste, just front of an idyllic clean white and almost empty beach. The Cottage Cabanas were very clean, spacious and beautiful. I also thank the staff that was truly helpful and always smiling."
