Wyndhan Legend Ha Long

Excellent & accommodating staff, wonderful restaurant, delicious breakfast. We were given an upgrade to a view over the bay, big wheel & the cable car, fabulous views. Would totally recommend this hotel & would stay again.

Everything was excellent, stunning bayview from bedroom, bathroom, even livingroom! The staff was very friendly, especially Mr Việt Anh at the reception, he was really nice and helpful! Def come back again!

Second stop on our Vietnam tour was Halong Bay, and staying at the Wyndham Lodge was a pleasure. This hotel is one of the originals in Halong bay and some people on here may say it needs updating, I would disagree, our room was definitely 5 star standard and the balcony looked out across the whole bay and provided the best view of our holiday. Being very disorganised we waited till around 11pm the night before to arrange any kind of trip the next day to see Halong bay, the manager on shift personally spent 30 mins with us discussing the options and recommended the sea plane if we don't like boats (I get sick on boats), this was one of the best things I have ever done in my life so thanks for providing us with a great stay and an unforgettable experience, would recommend anyone to stay here when visiting Halong bay. Oh, and as it was our anniversary they provided the swam towels, petals in the bath and sink, and a free glass of wine each.

Our stay at this fabulous hotel was simply brilliant. All the staff were so attentive, helpful and courteous. We had three rooms between the 7 of us and it was perfect, in fact we could’ve accommodated another 2 easily! The views are just phenomenal. We did a trip to the halong bay in a private boat, which was simply breathtaking. I would go outside to tour operators to find a good deal for the cruise as the hotel prices are expensive. This is not a negative about the hotel, however to get their elite status (5+), the fridge needs to be cooler, some of the rooms had mould, and if we hadn’t been moved to better rooms, our stay wouldn’t have been as fantastic. Anyhow, bravo to the whole team (this kind lady in the hotel was so good to us) at this amazing hotel for our perfect holiday. Thank you 😊.

Stayed here for two nights after 3 nights stay in Hanoi. Two hour limo from the Hanoi hotel was comfortable. We had a Junior King Suite on the 9th floor which was quite luxurious with seating area with two arm chairs and sofa and two office desks. Maybe a bit masculine with the two desks but the very large bathroom and shower room with large double bath on a pedestal with views out of the large window made for a more romantic setting. Also shower room with rain style shower and normal shower. Sipping a glass of wine unwinding together in the bath after a tiring day sightseeing was wonderful. Wonderful very large comfortable king size bed with really comfortable pillows made for a fun time and good nights sleep. Breakfast was excellent with vast choice of Asian and western food. Very large breakfast room so no problem with seating. Didn’t have dinner here preferring to go out of the hotel, turn left and 5 minute walk to Oriental Lotus buffet restaurant. 280,000 dong each for as much as you can eat and wide selection of soups, sushi, seafood dishes, stir fries, currys and even fried crocodile. Also plenty of desserts Hotel room was very quiet and staff very friendly and helpful.

Must visit in halong city. Very high standards in all departments . Extremely helpful and polite staff. Morning buffet breakfast is very very good . Swimming pool is so so adorable .all yours can be easily arranged from the hotel.

This hotel deserves 5 stars. They have all the amenities and fabulous decor of a top notch hotel. Their pool hours are a little minimal, but very gorgeous rooms. Fabulous views of the Ha Long Bay mountains, and ferris wheel. Only issue was the smell in the bathroom, but they know about it and say its a work in progress. Five star hotel for the same cost of a budget hotel in the US.

This hotel is perfect.everything is best,room has best view to Ha Long bay and Bai Chay bridge.room is big.i will be back soon and still choice Wyndham Hotel.i will recommend to my friend and my family.

Stayed at the Wyndham in Halong City for one night during our tour of Vietnam and it is everything you would expect from a 5 star hotel. Rooms are spacious and very well appointed, with comfortable beds and good showers. Food was good. Excellent service from all staff. Wonderful views of the bay and bridge, especially at night when everything is lit up. Happy to recommend.

I's a very good property with 2 wings. Both are equally good. We had dinner at their restaurant on both days. Service was good too. On arrival they served us a cinnamon tea which was yum. They made vegetarian dishes for us on request.
