Muong Thanh Grand Ha Long Hotel

The whole of Ha Long was just about booked out for the weekend but we managed to get a luxury suite at the Huong Thanh. We had a wonderful view over the bay, two rooms with large television in each, desk, lounge suite, coffee table, wonderful spa bath and one of the best showers we'd encountered on our trip. The plan was to spend one night here, the next two nights on a cruise of the bay then return to the hotel for a night before flying out to Cambodia. Our agent had booked us a cheaper room for our return night. However the hotel upgraded us so that we could keep the same suite on our return at no extra cost. We were also able to leave our bags and have our laundry done while we were away. The hotel staff could not have been more helpful. The breakfast was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. We asked room service to bring us tonics to go with our gin and they brought an ice bucket, glasses, salt and limes as well. They organised an expert driver and car to take us to Hanoi airport.

I stayed a night in the Hotel. Probably the best in the town. It is newly constructed with all latest facilities. Spacious, clean and well laid out rooms and washrooms. Very efficient and helping staff. It is 6 to 7 kilometers from the main town and you need to cross the bai chai bridge to move into the town. If you have time, a walk or a jog to the main town along the bay would prove to be a life time experience. Great place to stay in.

I stayed in Room No. 610. 1. Room: It is totally big and comfortable. 2. Bathroom: It is equipped with modern facilities and full of blankets. 3. Elevator: It is modern, but needs card to go upstairs/ downstairs. It is quite slow to wait. 4. The staff are really nice and helpful. 5. I love the music in every lobby. Its harmony is so so nice. 6. Breakfast: Buffets are okay.

Great hotel and service and love the location i just walk around by myself the people are great very friendly and sometime i tole the cab to vinpear mall great food in there . The taxi guy was really nice.

We had stayed in many luxury hotels, we were impressed by Muong Thanh Ha Long Hotel. It was well-decorated in fantastic setting. The room was so clean, bed was comfy, staff were very friendly and professional. We would like to recommend Muong Thanh Ha Long Hotel to anyone.

Nice staff with free room upgrade. Big room and comfortable stay. Very close to day market, night market and seafood restaurants. Good breakfast. Nice hotel compare with the prices. A good choice in Ha Long city! Recommendation!

l had a nice trip in Halong. specially with Muong Thanh Grand Halong hotel. the room was clean and comportable. food was delicous. stafs were helpul. specailly thanks ms Thu ( waitress) who took care us carefully and warm. best regards Tommy

We had a great vacation with many interesting experiences! We make a reservation check in 1 Oct for our family. The hotel is near market, seafood restaurants, Beach, etc. Staff is hopeful and enthusiasm. Will come back again!
