Villa Maly

Wonderful hotel with fantastic management and staff. Breakfast selection is great and bar drinks and appetizers very good. Hotel is 15 minute walk to edge of historic sites and 5 minute tuk tuk ride to bamboo bridge. Room was clean, comfortable, A/C worked well and water pressure was great. Consider this hotel for your stay

This is a very comfortable hotel . The decor is very tasteful. Comfortable bed and delicious breakfast. Staff were very courteous and friendly. Lovely place to stay. Pool area is very relaxing and beautiful. Lots of lush vegetation all around. An oasis of calm close to the centre of the city.

We stayed at the Villa Maly Hotel over New Year 2019/20 and it was excellent. The boutique rooms were great, the staff were very friendly, polite, courteous and efficient. The breakfast was first class as was the bar service. I would strongly recommend this very good hotel if you plan to visit Luang Prabang, itself a wonderful destination and centre for many visits

We loved this tranquil villa within short walking distance of the center of town. Nice design, nice everything. Wonderful service, food, pool, bikes. Elodie was always there with more information and suggestions

Our trip to Lao was amazing and our stay at the Villa Maly certainly added to it. The staff were super friendly, the rooms quaint but very clean with decent sized bathrooms and the breakfast was delicious. Our rooms were ground floor near the pool, but with the vegetation felt like we were almost in a forest. The location was decent, a quick truck-tuk away from the action or maybe a 10-15 min walk. Would definitely stay there again if I make it back to Luang Prabang

Villa Maly is a lovely colonial style hotel within easy walking distance of the centre of Luang Prabang. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the food and wine was excellent. The rooms and pool area are surrounded by vegetation which makes you feel you could be in the middle of the forest rather than in the city. A very relaxing place to stay

We stayed at Villa Maly Boutique Hotel for four nights while in Luang Prabang. I can’t say enough good things about the staff and manager at the hotel. From the dining room staff at breakfast to the bartender and desk staff we were well taken care of during our stay. The location is on a quiet side street just a short walk or tuk tuk ride to the main areas of the city that had dining, temples, and shops. 

Some friends and I stayed here for a few nights in Feb 2020. Rooms are an excellent size and well appointed. The breakfast buffet was fabulous. Didn't try the pool but we made use of the bicycles, which was nice. Most of all, the staff were very accommodating to random requests (I needed them to take a delivery of handcrafted items while I was at dinner) and letting us use their computers and phones

Lovely little boutique hotel located in a quiet street just outside the hustle of down town Luang Prabang. But also only a short 5 minute walk to the centre. The hotel has the friendliest staff I’ve ever seen. Nothing was too much for any of them and they always made the time to come over for a chat. The rooms are lovely and in a traditional style. We stayed here for 3 nights as part of our honeymoon and our room was beautifully decorated by the hotel for us. Perfect stay, if we ever go back to Luang Prabang we’ll definitely be staying here again
