The Luang Say Residence

We stayed 5 nights in Luang Say. Beautiful Explorator Suite in the main building overlooking the property. Very nice, clean property in beautiful lush gardens, much nicer than on the older pictures as the plants fully grown by now. The pool area is beautiful, calm and everybody has a lot of privacy. The best is yet to come and that is the people working here. They truly care about their guests. In an efficient and very gentle way. It was hard leaving... A rare gem. The hotel is very close to the main attractions. A must do: the Kuang Si waterfalls. But be there 8:15 am latest before the crowds. 45 minutes drive from Luang Say. Truly stunning and relaxing

Probably one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at - service and facilities were outstanding. You could pay less and be happy elsewhere in Luang Prabang, which has a huge selection of accommodation, but for a bit of luxury this place would be hard to beat. Breakfast excellent (lovely to eat on the veranda, service great), rooms extremely comfortable, peaceful and worked well. Shuttle to town useful. Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel can organise everything for you from transfers to trips (with a price tag but it’ll be well executed and easy) or if you explain you like to do things yourself and they will give advice - also info/trips freely available on google/in town.

My three nights four days at The Luang Say Residence - Luang Prabang was a perfect getaway to start 2020. Lovely and tranquil place with friendly and helpful staff. Love the colonial architectures. Food was excellent. We were so lucky to serve by Ole, Nang, Xay at Breakfast also Sonephet and Bounleour at Pool Bar who was super friendly and helpful during our stay. Very impressed and congrats to Luang Say to have wonderful staff including Front Office and Housekeeping team

Our stay at the Luang Say Residence was absolutely incredible! The hotels grounds and gardens are very beautiful and the rooms are spacious and exquisitely decorated. The location is very close to town, only a couple of minutes by tuk tuk or the hotel’s private shuttle. Breakfast and dinner at La Belle Epoque were both excellent. The best thing without a doubt is the staff’s overall service. Everyone is so kind and attentive, always with a smile and going out of their way to make your stay truly exceptional

We have just been staying at this exquisite hotel and simply cannot find any faults. We were picked up at the airport for a very reasonable amount which was followed by a welcoming and efficient check in process. The rooms were lovely and spacious. The breakfast was A LA Carte with ample options . The staff were simply amazing and we were sad to leave. Will definately be staying here next time we are in Luang Prabang

Luang Say Hotel is beautiful, grounds are groomed perfectly! Every room is a suite, large, beautifully appointed, spacious bathrooms! Food was incredible, staff lovely, engaging, very helpful to plan activities and make reservations! We wanted to stay longer! Breathtaking views, in a quiet part of town, everything we dreamt it would be! Worth every dollar we spent

This was our (my husband & I’s) 2nd time @ Luang Say Residence...our 1st time was when we were there for our honeymoon in Oct 2018. We had to return to the place because my husband’s family wanted to share in our relaxing experience & take in its amazingly peaceful serenity (after hearing rave reviews from us & having a look @ our beautiful photos)! Luang Say Residence not only offers spacious & clean interiors but also a remarkably colonial, & relaxed feel about the grounds (making you feel like you’ve been transported back in time where you get to have the best of both worlds - the tranquility of rural life as well as luxurious creature comforts). Daily breakfast was simply delicious and very well-presented (a must-try being their chicken noodle soup

Stayed as a family of 5 in Feb 2020; the staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. Rooms were huge and well appointed. Pool is stunning and food was also a highlight. As an aside, I was pleased to see very little plastic used - water was in glass bottles. Highly recommend

This hotel seems steeped in ancient French Colonialism.....but, is only 9 years old! So one can revel in a past era without remorse. Service is quick and pleasant . Peaceful grounds with an infinity pool and full bar

It was a brief 3 days and 2 nights stay in this lovely luxury boutique hotel. It was like transporting back in time, living in the ultimate experience of kings and queens in this French colonial architecture. From the start, the staffs are very friendly and making us feel as if we were a part of their family members, with their attention to detail, enthusiasm, and humbleness. About the room, it was very-well maintained, and clear of dust. The bed was comfortable, also the hotel offers quite a good selection of pillow to suite our preferences. The amenities offered are reasonable, however, I do feel like the body lotion has a rather strange smell to it. At Luang Say Residence, here they offer à la carte breakfast with a pretty good range of Asian, Western, and vegetarian dishes. And afternoon tea, well, it was a true delicacy. Thank you very much to General Manager, Mr Francis, Room Division Manager, Mr. Santi and all the staffs: the receptionist girls, the waiters and waitresses, the drivers, the housekeeping, etc. for taking care of us. No word can describe how grateful we are to hospitalise by you all. And if I happen to visit Luang Prabang again, this is the only place I will stay.
