Muangthong Boutique Hotel

The whole stay was just brilliant from start to finish. Upon arrival we were greeted by very friendly staff and treated to a free orange juice. The pool and chairs were perfect (you can also order drinks to the poolside area). The bed was comfy and the room was spotless and cleaned thoroughly every day while we were out. The breakfast buffet had a really good selection of food and eggs were made fresh to order. The incredibly chipper staff helped us to arrange our trips to the waterfall and the airport on the same day and it was no fuss at all to help us back in to our room when we'd accidentally locked ourselves out! The hotel is only a 15 minute walk from the main street but being able to use the free bicycles was also really handy for exploring the area. Pretty perfect stay to be honest

This hotel is in a good location for walking around Luang Prabang. Room was very clean and comfortable and staff very helpful and friendly. Restaurant also serves delicious food and included buffet breakfast had lots of options. I definitely recommend this hotel, I wish I could have stayed longer

Stayed here for only 2 nights but would recommend this place to all. Service and staff were brilliant. Location is fabulous. Room was spacious and very clean. Pool was lovely as were the poolside cocktails in the evening. Wide choice of food available for breakfast. Great stay here 

We stayed 3 nights here. The room has got boutique Laotian style. Specious room with bathtub. The breakfast was adequate. The staff are very polite and very intentive, they are willing to serve even in micro-needs moments. Location wise is in a quiet area yet still easy to get around

I stayed at this hotel at the end of August. From the moment I arrived I was made to feel welcome by the staff and the level of all the facilities exceeded my expectations. The staff were so helpful, polite and friendly. Great pool area, room and inclusive breakfast every morning was second to none. Greeted every morning by smiling faces, including Ms Tapong especially who went out of her way to provide a memorable and enjoyable stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. I cannot praise the team and their wonderful hotel enough

We live in Chiang Mai and visited Luang Prabang for a special occasion. We stayed at The Muang Thong Hotel and were delighted with the choice! The hotel is conveniently located in a quiet area just minutes from the Night Market; you can even check-in for your Laos Airways flight at reception! Our room was very clean, spacious, comfortable and with all amenities. The swimming pool was peaceful and relaxing especially after a days sightseeing. The hotel menu was excellent and the food itself well-presented and delicious. We would like to offer our thanks to all the very helpful and friendly staff at The Muang Thong but in particular our appreciation to Mr. Noy who made our stay so special with his exceptional customer service and attention to detail. We hope to return soon

We stayed at the lovely place for a couple of nights and everything felt like a charme. Especially Vinatta was tremendously helpful and organised everything for us instantly and with perfect English skills. Thanks a lot and see you very soon in Luang Prabang

This was a last minute substitution for a previously booked hotel and I am delighted that the change occurred. The room was wonderful, the service top notch, the facilities superb and the breakfast excellent. I would be hard pressed to find fault with any part of our experience and would stay there again on a return visit
