Landmark Mekong Riverside Hotel Vientiane

This has to be the most cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in laos. The hotel was clean and spacious.We got the river view king suite . Very nice and lovely. It was a very relaxing hotel to stay in, Its about a 15 min walk to the main night market strip. It's quiet and peaceful but close enough to get around everywhere. Breakfast was great also. Will definitely stay here again.

One of the best hotel's in town. Everything is very new, rooms are very spacious, clean, silent and service is pretty decent. It has three restaurants which are all good and their prices are quite competitive bearing in mind this is a 5 star hotel. Highly recommended.

We stayed at the Landmark Mekong Riverside Hotel for 4 nights in May. Our stay was most enjoyable, and the only negative point we could mention is the location of the hotel. We knew this before we travelled, but the hotel provide an excellent shuttle bus service to and from the city, which more than makes up for its location. Our room (523) was probably the most spacious we have ever stayed in during our extensive travels. The pool area was lovely, and again, very spacious. Breakfast was delicious with a vast selection available to meet all tastes. We found the staff to be very pleasant and most helpful. Oh, must mention the amazing views we had of the Mekong and Thailand from our balcony. All in all, an excellent hotel

The hotel is a truely 5 star place... the deluxe rooms are spacious and well furnished with a separate bathroom and a walk in robe.. the balcony offers additional space and magnificent views of the Mekong River.. and the hotels swimming pool. The hotel is located about half an hour walk or 5 minutes drive from the city centre... a shuttle bus is provided by the hotel at different times of the day. The hotels facilities cover a nice swimming pool, multiple restaurants, a business centre and lots of other facilities. All the staff provide exemplary service with a welcoming smile. The hotel's guest relation attendant Mr Duke Hoang Thien has been fantastic and provided very personalised service.. whenever he saw us he came for a chat providing helpful information about where to go or restaurants to eat in... nothing we asked for was difficult.. he made sure we were very well looked after in anything we needed.

Staffs were awesome. Facility is also nice I am totally satisfied with the pool and gym. I got the spa service in the hotel but i dont recommend it since the therapist felt like a novice.. I think it is better to have a massage in the downtown Champa (?) or sth. Anyway breakfast was good. It was a very pleasant stay.

I stayed three days in this beautiful hotel overlooking Mekong river with Thailand being across the river. Large rooms with terraces, large bathrooms and walk-in closets. The breakfast area has a terrace and a beautiful view on Mekong river. The breakfast offers a variety of foods including a good selection of breads and fruits. The receptionists were very friendly and kind, spoke good English and French and seemed to be very efficient. There are a few restaurants in the hotel - I dined in the Japanese restaurant and the food was fresh, tasty and very elegantly served. I haven't explored the other amenities - spa, gym, swimming pool, offered by the hotel too. Hotel provides free transportation from and to the airport. There is a nice walking path along Mekong river for jogging or strolling and can be taken for the evening stroll to the Vientiane's Night market or for watching a sunset or a moonrise.  

We stayed here whilst it was my girlfriends birthday and we couldn’t have picked a nicer hotel. On arrival the staff were so good and very professional. You don’t have to lift a finger as every door is opened for you and every bag is carried. Our room was fantastic. So clean, modern and comfy. A great view of the pool, grounds and the river. The bed was one of the comfiest I’ve stayed in. Once we checked in we had a knock on the door and one of the workers provided us with a bouquet of flowers and a fruit bowl, and there was also a complimentary slice of cake in the fridge along with a note saying Happy Birthday on behalf of the hotel. The spa, gym and pool facilities were amazing. If only it had been a bit warmer we would’ve spent more time in the pool. Breakfast was also good. 5 different stations with a huge range of different foods - traditional Vietnamese, pastries, breads, eggs, cereals, fruit, salad, juices, the list goes on. The free shuttle to and from the centre is fantastic. Always on time and really comfy vehicles. The times are quite spaced out but this makes time for an explore, food and evening drinks. A great 5* hotel and at an affordable price, would definitely stay again

On arrival we were met by Duke, the Conciege, who could not have been more helpful, he confirmed our tours with our tour company, arranged transfers, confirmed flights and generally made us feel very welcome. Breakfast buffet is extensive with both western and Asian offerings, including the tastiest creme caramel, a decadent start to the day. The rooms are large, well appointed and ours had a lovely view of both the pool and the Mekong. We were one of few western faces in this large hotel but don’t let that put you off, the staff are pleasant and helpful. They run shuttles in to town at regular intervals as it is too far to walk, this being, perhaps the only downside though to us it was an upside as the property is extensive and wouldn’t be if it was in the centre of bustling Vientiane.

What a lovely place! Big sprawling area, large comfortable rooms, spacious balconies, good food spread, very courteous staff- all in all an absolutely wonderful stay. Strongly recommended for business or leisure travel. Kids will love the empty spaces here

Went for a few days as a break from hustling and bustling Bangkok. Were not disappointed, Vientiane is like Thailand, but with half the speed. The hotel were great; spacious rooms with great view of the river.
