"Amazing hotel. They gave us a beautiful room facing the river and it was picture perfect. We watched the sunrise from our room. Bedroom was humangus with a beautiful bathroom. I would say a classic high end hotel. Felt like Royals :). Excellent breakfast with lots of choices. We had a memorable stay at this hotel."

"This hotel goes back almost 100 years and oozes a classic feeling. Yet my room was comfortable and modern. I did stay in the new wing of the hotel. Rooms may have been smaller in the original section. The lobby is large and elegant. The little lobby bar is very cool. There is also. Spectacular roof bar. Everyone from the doormen to the front office staff was gracious and knowledgeable. The pool is in the middle of the hotel-so there is sun in that area only around the middle of the day. The buffet breakfast was elegant. The spa looked wonderful, but I did not use it. I prefer such a hotel to the modern hi-rise hotels. Value is very good, esp for a room without a SaiGon river view."

"Stayed here for a short 3 day stay. The hotel although in an extremely busy and somewhat noisy part of town, is exquisite and absolutely charming at the same time. The decor is to be revered and the staff are ever so helpful. The pool is a little bit of paradise after a heavy day of sightseeing."

"I have stayed here on a couple of occasions. It is a beautiful hotel in a great location just next to the river. The rooms are big and well equipped. Breakfast is very good and can be had inside in the air conditioned restaurant or outside as you prefer. The roof top bar is a nice place to watch the sun set."

"Stayed at this 5 Star hotel over New Years Eve made famous by Graham Green in The quite American and where all the war correspondents hung out during the wars Still has real style about it Art Deco bit dated now but like visiting an icon before it disappears glad we went. Room nice enough and enjoyed downstairs bar. Breakfast was served on 5th floor with superb views of the river We booked into the New Year's Eve ball. Great entertainment and really sumptuous buffet this was on 5th floor so then all outside for fireworks at Midnight. Really good value for money."

"Magic old world rooftop bar and restaurant, not cheap but the view on a good day is amazing and it’s just nice to sit and watch the traffic and boats go by. Staff were friendly and food wasn’t bad, will definitely be back."

"This is a classic and sophisticated hotel right in the middle of Saigon that will be attractive to 98% of people. Very close to city hall, shopping, surrounded by restaurants and on the river allow tourists and business travelers to gain instant access to the city."

"Calm elegance near to, but not on top of, the busy areas. Rooms are comfortable have all you might need in a city hotel. Because of its age, the hotel lacks very modern fixtures and fittings, but that adds to the charm. The towels and bedding are the whitest you could find and superb quality. The pool in the central 'courtyard' area is small but very pleasant. Staff in all areas of the hotel are extremely professional and well trained. A perfect place to return to after sightseeing or exploring. An early evening drink at M Bar, overlooking the busy river, is a highlight."
