Blue Diamond Hotel

Perfect staff, great location, beautifully clean room.. what more could a person need? Only annoying thing on the 9th floor was that the wifi was poor as was 4G signal. Would definitely return if in HCMC. Thanks guys.

We have just had 5 nights here, our second visit. We love this place. Location is excellent, the staff are so warm and welcoming, everything is clean and tidy. The massage on First floor is outstanding. No hassles with Wifi. Whilst not a 5 star breakfast buffet, we certainly had our fill to get us through the hectic HCMC days :) We will be back.

This was our second trip to HCMC and second stay at the Blue Diamond Hotel. I’ve read a lot of the reviews on this hotel and I must say, maybe you stayed at a different hotel because I didn’t smell any nasty smells, had no evidence of mould in any room, had a huge window, and previously had a small balcony, and was warned that renovations were going on next door. So don’t blame the hotel for that! They have no control of construction work on a neighbouring hotel!!! Besides, who spends all day in their room when there is so much to see and do in the city! The staff are excellent. So obliging and helpful. So polite. They bend over backwards to help out. The breakfast is a range of 40 or more dishes so if there isn’t something that you can eat you’re just way to fussy to even be in Vietnam. Laundry is quick and cheap. We had days and days worth of laundry done in a day for less than $10. Sure we could’ve taken it next door ourselves and saved two bucks, but you have to remember these guys are paid crap wages, so every little bit helps them out. We stayed for a week and enjoyed every minute here. Pay for the biggest and best room you can afford and let’s face it, your dollar goes SO far here there’s no reason not to splurge. You can walk anywhere in ten minutes- War remnant museum, Reunification Palace, Ben Thanh markets, Saigon Square ( new shopping centre). Tour desk will book and recommend tours . I highly recommend the Jeep Tour by Night! Would I stay here again? Sure, I’d book a VIP suite next time for less than most decent Air BnB rooms!!

Booked a double and a twin room for my family. The location is great just a few blocks from the Ben Thanh Market. Buffet breakfast with enough choices and very good Pho and coffee is included in the room price. Toiletries are replaced as needed. Nescafe in the room is very good and better than the 3in 1 back in the Phils. Staff are very helpful and courteous. Will definitely recommend to friends and family!

I was there for two days.. its really good one.. walking distance to famous ben thanh market and foot market..there were many temple surrounding. Staff is very helpful.. I was there a rainy day, the staff provide me an umbrella to go chm city...haha i like it.

This hotel was very good value and I rated it excellent to reflect for the price. The room was clean and nice, the staff lovely and the breakfast the best in my entire stay. I paid more in other hotels but the breakfast here was the best. I had booked into Alagon City the night I stayed here but it was so awful (I think reviews mostly fake) I checked out and didn't stay there and came here instead. I am pleased I did. Much nicer staff and rooms and half the price.

Review, Blue Diamond Hotel, HCMC Vietnam, 9Mar20 to 12Mar20 Stay: 9Mar20 to 12Mar20 (3 nights) Rooms: 2 Superior Double, 2 Superior Twin Travellers: 7 (Family n Friends), 5 female, 2 male I have difficulty sleeping in a new place, even if it’s a 5-star hotel. Given the constraints of booking a 3-star hotel and for But when we reached the hotel and our rooms, all my reservations were banished. The hotel lobby looked clean and almost new, the FOM Matthew and staff had all our rooms and keys ready –our group of 7 checked in within < than 10mins. This is greatly appreciated as our flight was delayed by about 3 hrs and hence we reached the hotel, tired and just wanting to get to our rooms to refresh. All 4 rooms were next to each other, as requested – we just have to knock on each other’s doors. I walked into my room with that “it’s fresh, comfortable, clean, spacious and secure” feeling. Even though there is “no window view”, we did not feel claustrophobic . Except for the usual flushing, our rooms were QUIET. For 3 nights, when I get into bed, I slept soundly and woke up refreshed and energetic for the day’s tours, feasting and shopping….. Breakfast: good variety, ranging from Vietnamese (without doubt, Pho every morning and our usual dish as well, pork, chicken, fried banana), Asian (noodles, beehoon, porridge with condiments), veg, Western (spaghetti, rotated with French toast, omelette, hard boiled eggs, sausages, bacon, bread n toast, with the usual spread). I can’t remember everything as I focus on my usual favourites but all 5 female travellers (get the hint??) agree that the breakfast is excellent esp for the price that we paid. To summarize: Location: WE ALL AGREE “excellent, excellent, excellent”! Walking distance to Ben Thanh Mkt (where we did a lot of shopping, drink avocado, soursop), good Pho restaurants for lunch or dinner, terrific buffet dinner at this 5-star restaurant, delicious Hue food restaurant….. many things, no time to see every place that we wanted. Cleanliness: Excellent, more so for a 3-star hotel. Service: Excellent. We had no major issues. But if there’s any matter, I just had to inform the reception counter. My friend’s room had cigarette smoke smell, courtesy of the guest who checked out that morning! The hotel was willing to change the room for my friend (on a different floor) but she chose to room next to us. The hotel tried to air the room and sprayed freshener and did so the next day as well. Value: Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! If I had the chance to come back to HCMC, I would book this hotel (if they don’t change their service standards). My friend is recommending to her family who may be travelling to HCMC.

As a first time solo traveller anywhere, the staff here certainly made me feel welcome and at home. The rooms are exceptionally clean and the “Luxury Suite” was superb . As a loner nerd I looked to the locals like a prime target. The staff went out of there way to advise me and were genuinely considerate as to my welfare. Reception staff are exceptional and the 1st Floor massage centre is an absolute retreat of tranquility, a lot more so than the “massage” parlours that cover the district. Really impressed and would recommend this place to anyone a little concerned about safety and security. Will be returning in the future. Perfect for firs timers like myself.
