Senesothxuen Hotel

This hotel provides the near perfect setting for those who want to get away from it all and just relax. When we stayed, the hotel only had a few other guests which made it even quieter. The hotel staff are extremely helpful and try to please. We planned to stay 4 nights but extended it by another 3 as it was great to escape the crowds of the cities we had visited. The pool was in the sister hotel a few steps away with very few guests using it. Rooms are comfortable with the usual Asian matrices and pillows. Breakfast was cooked to order, along with fresh fruit, pancake and warm baguettes. There were a number of other restaurants within easy walking distance.

It had a bath which was a great opportunity to soak feet after weeks of trekking abuse and only having showers. The bed was ultra comfortable. The owner is one of the friendliest men you will meet and helped me fit all of my plans into the short one night stay. Finally, because everyone probably mentions it, the view from the hotel is spectacular.

We had a wonderful welcome and the hotel was very peaceful and calm. The loveliest view from our balcony. Very lush and green. Lovely simple breakfast, omelette and french bread, exactly what we wanted! Thank you

Good location overlooking the Mekong, very comfortable rooms, swimming pool shared with adjacent property welcomed. The manager went out of his way to make us early breakfast at 6am ... thank you.

For a little extra money I upgraded on arrival to the suit as I wanted my own private balcony. Staff were more than friendly and the breakfasts were amazing! All fresh local food. Has a homely atmosphere like you are one of the family. Thank you “Ped” (Mr Spicy) for everything and I will definitely return. See you again soon I hope.

We stayed 3 days and 2 nights in this Hotel. The rooms are verry clean and spacious. The breakfast is good with fresh baked Bread and home made jam. The staf is helpfull and friendly to. It was a real pleasure to stay in this Hotel and enjoy the sunset over the mekong in the morning

We had heard of this place and wanted to see it as it was reccomended for people who wanted a quieter place to stay. We arrived quite late and found we were the only guests (off season). The manager/owner spoiled us and organised some river trips. We only spent a few days there, but would love to return

A comfortable quiet hotel, with an excellent swimming pool. The room was spacious, and the hotel was a convenient base from which to explore some of the many islands, especially waterfalls. Sonia was a star member of staff, seemingly running and organising everything with a smile. Any issues were swiftly resolved by her, from check in, dinners, drinks, breakfast, laundry
