Sala Done Khone Hotel

One of the best hotel in 4000 Don. I stayed floating bungalow room. Room is well equipped regardless of difficult situation of remote 4000 island location. Very nice Mekong River view and good to relax and armchair at balcony. Staff were helpful. Hotel staff contacted with me about one week before I Check In and asked me for airport transfer. It was really helpful and professional way to serve. Nice place to relax

We have been on the floating bungalow, so our review is limited to this accomodation. It has been a very pleasant experience. The room is large, not luxury but with all that you may need, clean and comfortable. The small terrace directly on the water is simply enchanting, as well as the direct view on the river from the bed. Staff enough kind and acceptable restaurant with good cocktails

Probably the best location as it is directly on the Mekong river with a nice view. Breakfast was random (eggs, sausages, fruits), dinner also with lao kitchen. It also offers a pool and assists for trips on the islands

An excellent place to stay when in this area. The rooms where very good. The buffet breakfast is very good and sufficient. Staff very friendly and always ready to help out or provide information. Best way to see this place is by hiring a cycle for the day. The rooms were excellent

This hotel is a lot of fun . Adequate accommodation .The pool was good and the service and information given by the hotel staff was helpful and accurate. Totally recommend this

We reserved by booking to have good price. We were in the green resort, a big room with a big bathroom, terrace, a small pool for only 6rooms. In front of the space , crossing the road there a another pool for the all hotel. The view on the river is perfect for sunset and breakfast. A good choice.they have 3 choice of room floating, bahn in and heritage room in a colonial house

We asked around and this 3* hotel seems to be the best on the island. Airco, bathroom, services, wifi, breakfast, all are worth 3* in Europe. Obviously the view over the Mekong is fantastic. This hotel is a gem on the island. If you need pristine luxury, this is not the island for you. However, if you want a scenic adventure with good location, adequate accommodations, good food and EXCELLENT support staff, this hotel is a fine choice. The lodging has all that you need but has a feel of the past. Good mosquito netting and air conditioning. Lovely French heritage building. Beautiful nature. Enchanting sunset. Fantastic waterfall. Good WIFI. The management staff answered email in English promptly and completely and the level of spoken English was high

Everything is just perfect, the two managers are absolutely great, professional, friendly, insightful and helpful. The room we had was really nice and spacious, a heritage suite, with nice views on the garden and the river further. Good breakfast and dinner and the best spot for sunset
