Little Eden Hotel

We stayed for two nights and this was the most relaxing part of our trip to Laos. The room was really cool, and for the first time in Laos we had a windowed bathroom. Furniture fits in with the context and the room was very clean. The terraced reastaurants gives on the Mekong river, with Cambodia hills on the background. Sunset view is unparalleled. Good breakfast and very nice owner. We enjoyed talking to him. the hotel has a very nice swinning pool (with a bar). Towels available. Little Eden hotel is highly recommended

This is an incredible hotel with the absolute best location on the island of Don Det! You can enjoy the refreshing pool and amazing service that the straff provides. Everything is taken care of and you truly feel at home! Thank you and see you soon again

This is the only location on the island without a backpacker-feeling. There is a beautiful garden surrounding the hotel, a superb swimmingpool, and a very cool bar/restaurant with an amazing sunset view. At this hotel you get what you pay for; quality and a beautiful, quiet place to have a holiday. I highly recommend trying the restaurant in the hotel. The rooms are very clean, cleaned daily, and all amenities needed are in the room.The hotel itself is situated in the top-end of the island, it's the first hotel you see when you get off the boat! The owner is a cool guy from Belgium, so aside from English and Dutch, people also speak French! The next time I come to Don Det, I will stay here again! #Freedom

Exceptionally good from the moment we arrived . A friendly welcome from the staff and our host Mathieu who makes you feel very welcome and at home. Mathieu is very nice person to chat with and has a great sense of humour! Due to low season we were given a room upgrade on arrival. Lovely big clean room, with a good big bed and pillows with very clean bedding. Slept really well. Room was nicely decorated, clean with a large modern bathroom and good shower. Room was cleaned daily, bottled water supplied daily and fridge in the room to keep it cool. Air conditioning unit was very effective. WiFi was really good throughout. The hotel is literally a 2 minute walk from the ferry and main street which has mini marts, bars and restaurants. The rooms are very quiet and set in lovely well maintained gardens. There is a brilliant good sized well maintained swimming pool with plenty of sunbeds in full sun or shade. A pool bar at the front of the property and a restaurant to the back of the complex overlooking the most beautiful views of the Mekong with stunning evening sunsets. There was a good selection for breakfast. I especially recommend the pancakes with local honey! I liked the refillable coffee and enjoying a peaceful breakfast in a stunning location. We enjoyed our stay here so much we extended our stay and got lost in time in beautiful Don Det! A big Thank you to Mathieu, his wife and all the staff. We would definitely stay here again and again! 10/10

Little Eden Hotel is well located, just 100 meters from the boat pier. The rooms are spacious and have anything we needed, including good Wifi and airco. The hotel owner is a great guy who was passionate to inform us on the top sights. The staff is very friendly and we enjoyed all meals we had at the enormous terrace overlooking the mighty Mekong river. Last but not least: Little Eden Hotel has a great swimming pool which is clean and when we needed anything, the pool staff was immediately there to help us! I had the pleasure to visit several destinations in Asia and without any doubt I can say that Little Eden Hotel is a place where I definitely would like to return

I spent three nights at this guesthouse last August and it was just perfect.My room was large and clean and serviced daily, and breakfast-included in the price-was huge and really set me up for the day.I want to pay tribute to the staff,in particular to Mattieu and Noy the owners and to their boy Nicholas.The dining area offers a perfect sunset view over the Mekong and is a great place to have dinner....This guesthouse is centrally located and yet is very quiet and has very good sleep quality..I am happy to recommend this place and give it 10 out of 10

We had a great stay everything was to our satisfaction staff, food, cold beer, clean rooms great outdoor area with a beautiful swimming pool the owner was very good and spoke six languages which is very helpful for different nationalitys

We were looking for a room for 3 in the small Island of Don Det. Despite the bungalows which were offered, the only option to sleep for 3 was in this hôtel. WE were luckily surprised by the rooms, breakfast and swimming pool. The staff is really welcoming and likely to help for your requests. WE strongly advise it

We loved our stay at the little Eden - we found out about the hotel in our lonely planet book and were not let down! Big spacious rooms with air con, comfy beds and well equipped bathrooms (properly functioning toilet - which is surprisingally hard to find in Laos!). The pool area is comfortable and has a nice relaxed atsmopshere . The best thing of course is having access to the best views on don det during both sunrise and sunset! Would definitely recommend

It is the nearest hotel on Don Det when you disembark from the Nakasong ferry... and comparing to the neighboring hotels also the cleanest. For dinner, as the restaurant options in this part of the island are very restricted, we stayed in the hotel restaurant. It was delicious
