Aureum Palace Hotel & Resort Inle

What an amazing place. The view, the food, the tours and specially the staff. We stayed 4 nights and everything was just perfect Definitely the place to stay when visiting Inle Lake Just to be really picky I just missed an expresso and some pineapple for breakfast. But you had so much and tasty choice that you even don’t care.

Huge dinning room, great food, faces a lake that is very interesting. A whole culture of floating gardens and wired fishermen. Great staff. Comfortable rooms. Convenient place to stay and check out the lake.

We stayed with my husband there four nights in a first row villa. The villa itself is amazing, it has a breathtaking view over the lake, well protected form the noises of potential boats in the morning (which is very important if you care for your sleep). The decoration and furniture is very well chosen, the bathroom is great, very clean and with a great bathtub ;). The service is great, the staff is attentive to your every need, always available. The pool is very nice (though a bit cold when we were there, but I guess it was the case in every hotel at that time). A special mention is to be made about the restaurant which is really good, with an outstanding service, great cocktails, great choice of local dishes, and very good price/quality. The breakfast is, as well, perfect. The hotel is located approx. 1hour from Heho airport, 20 mn from Nyaungshwe, and 45mn boat trip to Indein. To conclude, we would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a luxury, yet "myanmar inspired" hotel.

I have just spent three nights at Aureum after a three day trek through the hills down to the lake. Arriving by boat is a wonderful experience and by the time you have checked in you feel as if you have been wrapped in a warm comfortable blanket. A hot bath and a sundowner on the terrace and you are in paradise. We had a room facing the lake which was huge and had everything you need and anything else was just a phone call away. The staff are amazing and treated us like royalty, nothing was too much trouble. Pa Pa Min is a wonderful host and she made sure we had all our needs attended to. My husband has complex dietary requirements and the team of chefs looked after him splendidly especially Myo Kyi who made bread and cakes especially for him, not to mention adapting the comprehensive menu for him. The entire restaurant team are a wonderful family with a special mention to Tai and Zar Zar Oo. Had a Pedicure and a facial at the Spa and by the time we left the hotel I was restored and ready to cotiewithour travels. Ihave stayed in 3 different hotels on the lake over the last 5 years but I can honestly say this was my perfect destination. Hope to return in the future.

We enjoyed excellent service of this hotel resort which is certainly unique in Myanmar, located at the shore of the Inle Lake. The great villas and the special pool in front of the lake offer a lovely relax from the hundreds of fantastic impressions you get while discovering the Inle Lake area on the lovely boats. The food is excellent and the sites we enjoy them are very special, especially at the fire place on the terrace with view to the lake. Mrs Pa Pa Min and Mr Wynn Ko Ko took splendid care of us.

Lake Inle is a unique place and Aureum is a wonderful hotel, where really everything is perfect. The Villas are on the water and have a boat house atmosphere, but a nevertheless very luxurious. The staff is super friendly, the breakfast and other food is delicious. We had a great time and can only warmly recommend to stay here. We will be back for sure.

We had a most relaxing 3-day stay at the Aureum Palace Resort. The place is perfect! It has all the amenities we need for an enjoyable get-away. They provide essential services, catering to the guests’ needs. They exert efforts in making guests feel so at home. The hotel restaurant offers a wide selection of diverse cuisines. The breakfast buffet offers a lot of choices from continental, Asian, Myanmar and local food. Above all, The hotel’s staff were simply amazing: welcoming, accommodating, helpful and very courteous. We simply loved our stay and would want to come back.

We loved this hotel the most. So much ambiance throughout. All the staff knew our names personally, welcoming us with a special sign in the lobby, personalizing our stay through out and anticipating our needs before we could ask. Our favorite surprise was the bonfire each night where we sat around for drinks after the sunset and before and after dinner! So pleasant and reminded us of our high end safaris. Rooms are amazing - we actually couldn't find where they had placed our luggage, there are so many "chambers." Outdoor balcony is great for sunset and relaxation at end of day. Meals were terrific, especially breakfast. Even the coffee was amazing! Also stayed at the Strand, Yangon and Aureum Palace Bagan. This was the winner, hands down.

We'll keep a wonderful memory of this splendid place where everything was absolutely perfect. The service is impeccable, the staff extremely pleasant, efficient and discreet. And last but not least, the food was delicious.

The villa accommodation was beyond our expectation and beautifully presented. The location by the lake shore is peacefukl and scenic, and both nights we saw beautiful sunsets over the lake. The staff were helpful and pleasant, and we could not have asked for more.
