At your hotel, your guide and driver from Asia Private Travels will meet you to take you on a half-day tour of Bagan. This program takes you to many different sites, giving you a great glimpse at Bagan's history, culture, and way of life.
The Burma trip starts with a stop at the Shwezigon Pagoda's golden stupa.
Next, go to the nearby Gubyaukgyi temple, which is in a cave and has beautiful Jataka paintings.
After that, you can learn more about the culture of the area by going to two workshops in the Myinkabar Village that make two of Bagan's most famous items: lacquerware and wood crafts.
Then, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
