8 Days Tour to The North Laos

After breakfast at the hotel, you get transferred to Muang La. Driving up to the Nam Phak River and admiring green rice fields, mountains, local people working on their farms, cultivating their lands, etc. to explore Laos culture. Arrive here, you can start your trekking tour to remote villages along the small green trail, it is integral part of Family Holidays.

Lunch at Ban Phavie village. After the village tour, continue trekking to visit the isolated waterfall Houay Kha and the pristine forest. Then walk back to the village.

Dinner on your own. Overnight in Muang La.

It takes about 6 hours to transfer from Muangla to Bountai. On the way you would be seen the hill tribe people that they are going to their farm. You can visit some of those villages to learn more about their daily life.

In the morning before your breakfast, Asia Private Travels leads you to the market where many hill tribe members come to market for sales.

Return to the guesthouse for breakfast and then drive from Bountai to Phongsaly. It takes 4 hours. We can make ashort stop on the way to visit more hill tribe villages.

Pick you up at the hotel in Phongsaly. Start the trek in Phongsaly via hill tribe villages, Ban Kounsouk Noy & Yai. Also, you will be very impressive the view of the mountains with the sea misty. After climbing up to Phoufa Hill to view Phongsaly, you have free leisure.

On the 6th day of Family Holidays, you can be transferred by van to Hatsa – Cruise to Mouang Ngoi. You would be impressed by both sides of Nam Ou River's scenery. Especially the fish can be seen in some corners of our cruise. It takes about 6 hours to cruise. On the way, we will stop at Muang Kua and hill tribe villages on the bank of the Nam Ou River. We move to Mouang Ngoi for relaxing.

After breakfast, we take a walk sightseeing in Mouang Ngoi. It is a small village but it is crowded with families. So, you would be felt relaxed in the fresh weather. The cruise down to Nong Khiaw - the headquarter of MouangNgoi district. Overnight in Nong Khiaw.

After we drive back from NongKiaw to Luang Prabang, we return to your hotel in Luang Prabang and end of service.(Hotel in Luang Prabang not included, please contact us if you need us to help you arrange hotel in Luang Prabang).
