Saibaidee from Asia Private Travels! After picking you up, our team will take you to your accommodation. Luang Prabang is supposed the best-preserved traditional city in Southeast Asia. This town's peace and charm, along with the beautiful natural environment and cultural attractions, make it one of the most enjoyable destinations to visit in Laos.
On the 2nd day of this classic journey in Laos, we transfer you to explore the Ban Hat Hien village – where is well known for producing the traditional machete (Pha), an indispensable tool for all Laotians.
The next village is Ban Phanom – where you can observe how they make the cotton-weaving and silk weaving which are used by the royal family in the past.
The afternoon is your time to relax at the beautiful Khouangsi Waterfalls where you can visit the Park of Rescue Bear, and swim in the natural turquoise pools or walk along forest paths.
Along the way, we will visit the Buffalo dairy farm and experience with them.
Finally, we explore the Night Market, where you can browse through a lovely selection of handmade textiles. Overnight at hotel.
Begin your day with a yummy breakfast at the hotel provided by Asia Private Travels, then you will experience an upstream boat on the Mekong River, which allows you to contemplate the panoramic view of the tranquil countryside. We make a pit stop to the Pak Ou Caves, two enormous caverns that serve as reservoirs for hundreds of Buddha statues.
Ban XangKhong village is the next stop in this Laos package, where locals produce Saa paper, an autochthonous product of Laos (obtained after crushing the bark of the Saa tree) and used especially to create the books needed to collect the sacred Buddhist writings still written in the ancient Indian language of Pali. This village is also specialized in silk products, with both traditional motifs and new contemporary creations.
The packed day comes to the end after seeing the botanical garden, which features amazing regional collections of bamboo and orchids.

At 8:00 am, Asia Private Travels's tour guide will come to your hotel to start a day meeting the producers of rice and organic vegetables.
During 3 hours, you will follow an introduction to all the stages of growth and preparation of rice. Have fun experimenting on your own, like putting your feet in the mud plow, plant, transplant sprouts, and make flour from grain. The last activity is tasting some rice products whose variations are so numerous.
In the afternoon, you will be transferred to Luang Prabang International Airport for your departure flight.
