Day-02 Hanoi Sightseeing – Foodie Tour
You have a whole day to explore a lot of prevailing touristy spots in Hanoi-the bustle and hustle city of over 1000 years of history. We pay a visit to Ho Chi Minh Complex, which is a cluster of Ho Chi Minh’s relics, to learn more about the beloved Father of Vietnamese as well as his humble lifestyle and his military activities. We’ll discover all attractions including: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Still House, Presidential Palace and the nearby One Pillar Pagoda.

Then, we sets foot in Temple of Literature, known as the first university of Vietnam constructed in the 11th century.

In the afternoon, you will find it really surprising to visit Museum of Ethnology, which sites around 8 km to the northwest of Hanoi center. This museum reflects almost perspectives on tangible and intangible cultural heritage as well as significant features in the life of 54 ethnic groups. It offers you a great chance to witness an inspirational collection of about 27,000 artifacts regarding Vietnamese and Southeast Asian ethnic communities.

Our next attraction is the Hanoi Old Quarter - a place to preserve ancient culture and memory of time. It is a special mixture between its nostalgic ambience of old-styled narrow streets and the dynamic atmosphere of the modern city. Moreover, you will be amazed by its vibrancy and a wide range of products displayed through 36 ancient streets ranging from street foods, clothing, jewelleries to souvenirs and more. Follow our locals guide to have a gastronomic experience by savoring lots of delectable grub that you can’t get enough in some secret alleys.

Day-03 Hanoi – Ninh Binh - Hanoi
On the Classic Journeys, we spend the whole day discovering the highlights of Ninh Binh. Van Long Nature Reserve is our first stop, which is prominent for the nature ecosystem and the setting of the famous movie Kong: Skull Island.

Get on a rowboat for a fascinating journey around this wetland (about 1,5 hours), through the submerged limestone caves and lush reed plant.

Then, we move to the next spot - Gia Hung village, which owns the tranquility and mesmerising landscapes. Relax with this atmosphere when cycling along the bank of Boi river (8 km)

Afterwards, we go ahead to Nho Quan village to have a cozy lunch with the locals. Then, pay a visit to Hoa Lu ancient capital - an architectural complex of 1000 year history. Here, you can have a chance to know more about the Vietnam glorious history through the vestiges of Dinh and Le dynasty from the 10th century. This is the last attraction for today after we turn back to Hanoi.

Day-04 Hanoi – Overnight Cruise on Halong Bay
Breakfast will be served at your hotel and then get ready for a scenic drive to Halong Bay - recognized as UNESCO World Heritage with the majestic beauty of stunning natural landscape.

On the way to the gem in the Gulf of Tonkin - Halong Bay, we will pass through the iconic scenery of the lush rice fields and high mountain ranges of the Red River Delta. By the time you arrive, embark on the Junk boat for a mesmerizing cruise on the bay. Lunch will be served on board.

In the afternoon, we pay a visit to some of the most magical caves of Halong. You will be astonished by the very animated and splendid beauty which is made from stalactites and stalagmites. Set your mind free and enjoy the peace of the magnificent bay. Refresh yourself in the pure emerald water as the ship stops en route. You can also opt to row kayak to enjoy the tropical vibe in this paradise.

Dinner will be served on the board followed by many exciting activities. Stay overnight on the board.

Day-05 Halong Bay – Flight to Danang - Hoian
There is nothing better than waking up early to immerse in the fresh air and peaceful atmosphere of the bay. Enjoy your breakfast on board during the ship continues to sail to other lesser - known areas. At noon, a light lunch will be served on board before returning to the pier for a trip back to Hanoi on a shuttle bus. Upon your arrival in Hanoi, our private car (no guide) will pick you up and transferred to the airport for a flight to Danang.

Our guide and driver will wait for you at Danang airport for a pick up and transfer to Hoian ancient town, finish the tour in the Northern Vietnam of Asia Private Travels.

Day-06 Hoian – Eco Tour - Sightseeing
Have breakfast at the hotel before discovering Hoi An local market this morning. It is a visually stunning place gathering many dwellers and local produces, where you might get some tips of bargaining. If you are really keen on shooting photos, you will have many interesting things capturing your attention.

Up next, pay a visit to Bay Mau nipa palm forest which is an amazing place for nature lovers or family with kids. It is a unique ecological area with submerged forest system and the abundant tapestry of flora and fauna .

In Hoian, the Classic Journeys gives you the chance to float on coracle is the best way to get through the lush mangrove forest and enjoy the beautiful landscape. You can also buy some lovely souvenirs made of palm leaves like watches, hats or rings sold here.

Join in a very exciting folk game called “bit mat dap nieu” is a must - do activity in Hoian. Sip a cup of tea while a cooking class is preparing. During this class, you will not only learn how to make traditional Vietnamese grub by yourself but learn more about Vietnamese culture through the chefs’ stories.

Then, enjoy your self - made lunch.

Next, immerse yourself in a relaxing boat ride on Thu Bon river and observe the daily life with fishing movements of the locals or just feast your eyes on the water surface to look for a little peace and quiet.

Return to the town center in the afternoon. Stroll around the old quarter to contemplate the retro structure of Hoian with the harmonious combination of Vietnam, Japan and China architecture . Up next, pay a visit to the fascinating Hoi An Museum, observe the impressive Phuoc Kien Assembly Hall. Our sightseeing tour will be finished with 2 last stops: the Tan Ky Old House and the unique Japanese Covered Bridge.

Back to the hotel. You will be free for the rest of the day.

Day-07 Myson Holyland – Free and Easy
We will spend half a day exploring the secret World heritage that preserves the ancient Asian culture in Quang Nam province - My Son Sanctuary. It is an architectural complex consists of 68 overwhelming Hindu temples, which were built in over 900 years in order to worship the Shiva god. The uniqueness of this structure is intricate sandstone carvings and the erection with fired bricks fitted perfectly together without mortar.

Back to Hoi An later this morning. Enjoy the rest of the day by your own ways.

Day-08 Hoian – Danang – Flight to Ho Chi Minh
You are free to discover the ancient town in your own way and select some lovely gifts for your beloved kith and kin back home.

In the afternoon, you have a flight to Ho Chi Minh city from Da Nang Airport. When you land at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, the guide and driver are ready to pick up and transfer you to the hotel for check in.

Day-09 Cu Chi Tunnels – Sightseeing
In the morning, depart from the hotel in private car to Cu Chi Tunnels, which is the unique network of interconnected underground tunnel of 250 km in length. This eis the integral integral of Asia Private Travels.

This is not only the ultimate shelter of Vietnamese soldiers during the American war but also the place for military activities as well as food, medicines and weapons storage . You can also experience the life of a Viet Cong guerrilla; crawl through a section of the immense connecting underground tunnels to gain deeper insights into the difficult conditions that the people have to confront during the war.

Leave Cu Chi tunnels and get back to the city center. Meals at your own expense.

In the afternoon, a city tour will be arranged around Ho Chi Minh city for you to explore the imposing French architecture. Our visit includes the Old Saigon post office, Notre Dame Cathedral, Opera House, Reunification Palace and Chinatown Cholon.

Day-10 Ho Chi Minh – Mekong Delta Full Day – Can Tho
This morning, our Classic Journeys will embark on an amazing adventure in Mekong Delta, which is one of the most amazing destinations in the south of Vietnam. A transfer of 2.5 - 3 hours from Ho Chi Minh city will take you to Ben Tre - our first stop in today’s itinerary.

Upon arrival, we will get on the boat at Phong Nam wharf for a cruise on Chet Say river - a branch of Mekong river. The boat ride will take you along the natural canals under the shadows of water coconut trees offering a great chance to witness the tropical vibe and the authentic life of the locals.

You will also encounter the pastoral life and their conventional handicrafts such as coconut activated charcoal making, coconut-based products processing and mat weaving procedure.

Then, we will move to a peaceful village nearby. There are 2 options for you to commute: hop on “xe loi” - a special motorized rickshaw or cycle a bike around the village through the greenery and mesmerizing paddy fields. Enjoy lunch at a local house where you can gain the gastronomic experience by savoring the local delicacies.

In the afternoon, get on board again for a trip along a narrow canal before returning to the quay, and then moving to Can Tho city.

Day-11 Cai Rang Floating Market – Ho Chi Minh
Today we will visit the biggest floating market of Mekong Delta - Cai Rang floating market. Get onboard at Ninh Kieu Pier and set sail to the attraction. You can witness the vibrant pace of life of hundreds sampan boats carrying all kinds of tropical fruits. The color of fruits, the animated atmosphere and the noise of boat engines create a sense of uniqueness that you couldn’t find in another market. This is a great opportunity for you to encounter the authentic life of the locals in Mekong Delta.

Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Turn back to Ho Chi Minh city.

We had a wonderful 12day trip in Vietnam. We had a rough itinerary in mind, and the amazing Ms Ly then did the rest, booking and organising everything. We probably left the arrangements a bit late as we travelled over the Xmas/New Year period, but Ms Ly worked some miracles in finding our group of 5 some beautiful hotels, cruises and day trips. Ms Ly was excellent in her communication and speed of responses, and was extremely valuable when we had to make some changes during our trip due to some health issues. This vacation was awesome! Gam planned interesting cultural site visits and respected our choice to have some leisure time in Hanoi and HCMC. Our guides were all knowledgable, spoke great English, and made everything convenient for us. They mostly quite young and seemed to be really enthusiastic. Meeting the guides and drivers were so helpful and took a load off our shoulders! About the stops in the tour, we just love Vietnam. WHat a beautiful and friendly country. We didn't feel down at any moment in our trip. Just hope that the hotels in big cities can improve their accommodations. 4 star doesn't look like 4 star... Anyway, thank APT for such a memorable tour.

Vietnam is such an amazing country; we can't admire enough its nature, culture, and history. Halong Bay, Danang, Ninh Binh and Tam Coc are definite highlights, but equally powerful in different ways were the Cu Chi Tunnels, Hoi An, and Hue’s Imperial City. We had the luck of having great guides, in particular Hang in Hoi An and Danang, and Ving in Ho Chi Minh City. And Gam was amazing throughout in ensuring all went well, including adjusting our itinerary in Hoian on short notice!

On-time pickups from hotels and airports, good selection of hotels except in HCM, this agency took the stress of planing everything on my own and let me appreciate Vietnam. Hnag was incredibly accommodating and patient with all of my inquiries and qs. In the end, we traveled to many destinations in a brief period of time. I wish I could have squeezed in a trip to the Golden Bridge on the way from Hue to Hoi An. The hotel in HCM was not very excellent, although the hotel was in an excellent location, the reception staff and service were quite bad. There was also no daily room cleaning or coffee and tea replenishment.

Our journey came from the worst to the best. The weather was so gloomy when we set foot in Hanoi. The first city tour wasn't happy as it rained a lot. However, it got brighter as we travel to Halong Bay. But Saigon, the Cu Chi Tunnels, Hue, Hoi An, Hanoi, and HaLong Bay were among the great destinations on the trip. Excellent tour guides joined us on the journey, and Moon, our facilitator, planned a spectacular 12-day experience throughout Vietnam with our requests. Overall, the entire trip was wonderful. I wholeheartedly endorse Moon and her organization.

She is constantly accessible and reacts quickly to any problems or issues, even on weekends or late at night. She did a terrific job of planning for my husband and I a wonderful 12-day tour itinerary. I appreciate that my hotel pick-up time is always on schedule. Everything on our agenda was quite precise so I will give a 9 The only drawback with one of the hotels in Hue is that the water heaters take quite long to warm up and the rooms smell moldy.

We arranged a tour for 6..All arrangements were made with ease. Hang coordinated out tours and did not disappoint with the best guides who looked after us from the moment we arrived making sure we made our flights, meeting us at each destinations. Both guides spoke English very well and were eagar to make sure that all questions were answered.. they were warm and welcoming .. their itinerary for each highlight and explanations were terrific. The hotel had the best, most inviting pool after a very hot day. The staff at the hotel were accomodating making sure everything was to our liking. Our experience with Asia Privte Travels has been fantastic from the day I inquired about booking. The organizers went so far above and beyond customizing an itinerary that fit our time needs, budget, and interests. They thought of many details that didn’t occur to me at first (like booking the room in our hotel the day before and after our tour so we wouldn’t have to change accomodati is after a long day of moto-touring). Our guide is so patient and kind! In the photo I submitted, he is showing my daughter how to make paste from a small log to protect her skin from the sun and provide a cooling, nutrient risk mask.
