We had the chance to stay @ Residence Sisouk for three days with our familly. Hotel managers and team provided all their attention to make our stay memorable. Colonial decoration of the rooms made us feel very comfortable and enjoy out stay. Food from breakfast to diner was very good and we recommend to try the top floor... but it's a surprise to discover

We stayed at Residence Sisouk for nearly a week with 2 two families of friends (in all a party of 14!). If you like nicely decorated colonial-style boutique hotels, then Residence Sisouk is the must stay in Paksé. Nang, the owner ( a Franco Laotian) who was born in the house, is the most perfect host and will make you feel at home right away. The fact that she speaks fluent French was a great plus for us (she also speaks English). The rooms are extremely clean, spacious (choose the Deluxe), nicely decorated and pretty quiet given the location in the heart of the city. Service is high quality by Lao standards. Breakfast, which is awesome, is served on the roof restaurant offering a stunning 360° view of the city and beyond. Adjacent to the hotel is a Sinouk Café, a chain of coffee shops owned by the family, which provided the best espressos we had in Laos. Their coffee is really of superior quality to everything else we drank

We stayed here for a week in January 2018 while visiting the Champasak region, the deluxe room was exquisite, beautifully furnished, roomy and airy with a lovely view of the town and river - breakfast in the top floor restaurant was delightful, we even had chocolate cake one morning

At the first sight: from the street I didn t believe that I booked there. Not a pleasant area (but none in Pakse) a façade really more for backpacker.. OK.. But we booked a large room and it was full of feelings of an colonial time. Nice clean charming, OK not really modern but confortable. Good breakfast at the top with a nice view and a really friendly and nice staff at the desk. Charming helpful. Don t hesitate

We stayed here twice as we traveled around Champasak region. The hotel is really delightful. It is the family home of the owner, a lovely French Lao woman, and has been refurbished in Colonial style. We stayed in the deluxe room and it was an absolute delight. The bed was big and comfortable, the whole room is spacious, light and bright with lots of windows and doors opening onto a small balcony. Bathroom has a separate bath and enclosed shower. There is air con and a fan and all kept spotlessly clean. The staff are very well trained, really friendly and helpful. Would thoroughly recommend treating yourself to a stay here

We have stayed 2 nights here as a base to Champassak and Bolaven plateau. The location is convenient and quiet, and a short walk can reach the market for basic foods and fruits(3-5 mins), and around 10 mins to airport by private car. We have booked the airport pickup service from the hotel, and the fee is reasonable. The hotel environment is good, the staff are friendly and helpful. Our room on second floor is nicely decorated, although the hotel is a bit old, the room is spacious, clean and all things are well-function. The beds are clean and comfortable too. Hand shower are available. Towels are clean. Shampoo, body wash and basic toiletries are provided. Kettle and mini bar are also provided. Hair dryer can be borrowed at the reception. Lighting is good and big window allowed sunlight to come in. Although our room is on the second floor and facing a main street, it is still quiet in the morning as the traffic is not busy. The quality of their breakfasts is good too, we have one day western style, and one day Laos-styled soup noodle, both are delicious. The restaurant is located at the top floor, and you can enjoy the beautiful view of the town while having your breakfast. I really missed its tranquility, and there is no better way to start a morning like this.

I found this to be a lovely place to stay for a work trip. The breakfast was elaborate and served in a room with a gorgeous almost panoramic view. The room was clean and tidy and had coffee and tea and water

We stayed in a Deluxe Double Suite. Nice, clean, very spacious, tastefully decorated room with all required amenities including a small balcony with an amazing view. One of the better rooms I have experienced in S.E. Asia. Good Internet access. Breakfast was included and although the selections were limited the food was quite good and more than adequate to get your day started

I spent 5 nights at this hotel last August-2019-and was very satisfied with the experience. This hotel is a charming place with a rich history.I met Madame Nang, the owner, and she was actually born in the hotel when it was a private house. The room I was given was large, clean and inviting with great views of the Mekong river. When I arrived check-in was handled speedily. This boutique hotel is a lovely place to have dinner-the food is freshly prepared and served in the penthouse cafe.Breakfast each morning was more than adequate and really set me up for the day.

We stayed here two nights on our way to the islands and had a very pleasant stay. The hotel is well situated for restaurants and we enjoyed their rooftop happy hour at sunset. Breakfast was fabulous with a huge choice of food (fruit, yogurt, eggs, breads) The staff is great. The colonial architecture and furnishing are lovely and the AC worked well
