Then, you will be driven approximately one hour and a 45-minute trip to Salay along the Irrawaddy River. Stop on the way to discover the unknown Chauk market and be impressed by true Myanmar countryside life.

On your quick tour in Salay, you will have the opportunity to see the unique architecture of the teak-wood Yoke Sone Kyaung monastery, which dates back more than a century. Salay Monastery Museum is another option; however, you should note that it is closed on Mondays and holidays.
