Maisons Wat Kor

I loved this hotel. The style and layout is great, the rooms are very spacious and well equipped. Good bar and restaurant. A small hotel complex so it will also be very quiet. Food is good and offers a very good choice of Cambodian dishes as well as western style food. Staff are really nice and friendly. Angelina Jolie has stayed here

After the 7h boattrip from Siem Raep to Battambang, which will be a challenge for some, the arrival at “maisons wat kor” was a real treat!! The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful and the hotel with romantic garden is fabulous. We stayed for two nights and enjoyed having cocktails near the pond before having a very nice Khmer dinner with gardenview. We also did the “beyond the touristic road”tour with the hotel tuktuk driver. It was a very nice tour, lasting a whole day, where the driver showed us many local artcraft, temples and people making ricenoodles, ricepaper, ricewine and not to forget “sticky rice”!!

Lovely resort away from the city hustle with beautiful and simple rooms with modern luxury. Staff was great too with all of them so friendly, ever smiling and always ready to help. The resort to BE in when in Battambong

Loved Maisons Wat Kor very much. It has a very peaceful jungle feeling and here you find a real Cambodian countryside feeling. Very, very nice garden with nice and cosy pool area. Wonderful wooden outdoor terrace where you can rest and have breakfast, lunch or dinner. Breakfast is good, yet not exceptional, lunch tasty. Rooms (stayed in Lotus room) are spacious and clean. Staff is super! Surely, this is not a real 4 star hotel, but you get much more Cambodian vibe than a 4 star hotel can offer. Recommend this very much

Fantastic boutique style hotel nestled amidst serene natural surroundings of Trees and with Farm style atmosphere with a in house lake adding to the charm complete with blooming lotus and a boat. Has a Spa cabin over the lake waters for a different luxury feel. Angelina Jolie and crew too stayed here I believe and their pics are prominently displayed with rightful pride The Management and the Staff are some of the best I have experienced who make you feel as part of their family in their interactions with you.

Blood pressure reduced significantly after 2 days using this as a base to explore the delights of Battambang with my wife and 2 teenage boys. Pool fab, Food great, rooms lovely. The owner also looked after us after my 17 year old got bitten and it puffed up a bit by arranging for us to be taken to the local hospital to get it checked (thankfully all ok - but an experience on its own - positive!). Would definitely recommend (Prosecco was a very nice touch too

We had a great 2 nights stay at Maison Wat Kor in Battambang. We started by booking 6 massages when we arrived to get some relief from the long drive from Phnom Penh. The massages were very enjoyable. We ate both evenings at the restaurant there. They offer a set dinner menu which is good, the food is tasty and priced reasonably (starter, soup, main course and dessert for $12 USD). The rooms are spacious and charming, bathrooms look brand new (we were 6 people and had 3 rooms, 2 lotus rooms + 1 frangipane room).

Beautiful hotel in Battambang in a relaxing environment. Very clean! Friendly staff. Swimming pool with salt water is well maintained. The three of us had the lotus suite. The room was absolutely beautiful with pleasant beds, very spacious and with a terrace

We stayed here for two nights 27th January as two couples. The hotel arranged our collection from Siem Reap airport and onwards travel. From the moment we arrived we loved the surroundings, so beautiful and Cambodian. This is our second trip to this wonderful country. The staff were amazing and could not do anymore for us. We had two upper rooms with beautiful views and a lovely balcony. The rooms were beautiful and had everything we needed. We ate at the hotel and the food was lovely and reasonably priced as were the drinks. We attended the Cambodian circus which was brilliant and fun to watch. There was a wedding whilst we were there but although this was "noisy" as other say, we enjoyed this as it was traditional music and not really a problem. The hotel do provide ear plugs which we did not use. We would return in a heartbeat and wished we had stayed longer. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone. 5 stars! we loved it. Located one kilometre outside Battambang city it is a tropical garden oasis.Designed in traditional Khmer style,the landscape,gardens, buildings,pond, people offer authentic Cambodian hospitality at its very finest. Each bedroom is unique, furnished and decorated in a distinctive way, imaginatively using locally sourced materials and the most beautiful pieces of furniture which reflect the history and culture of this fascinating country. Everything about Maisons Wat Kor is breathtaking including the service given by the staff who by their courtesy, efficiency, friendliness, knowledge and enthusiasm added extra value to our experience. Food is of the highest quality, lots of it home made, and served with impeccable style. Breakfast overlooking the lagoon is a great way to begin the day and dinner is just the most romantically charming way to end the day. The owner and staff pay great attention to detail making this a fantastic place to relax, feel good about yourself, swim, take a massage,enjoy the natural beauty which surrounds you and it is the most magical place to return to after exploring the areas attractions - don't miss the bamboo train or the bat cave. We extended our stay and are already planning to return
