when you come to battambang must go there. Very good foods and very friendly the boos and staff . There they have nice bungalows and green garden and specialty. a nice natural swimming pool

It's a magical place, by night and by day ! It's an oasis of calm ! The swimming pool (natural swimming pool) is so nice and enjoyable. The rooms/bungalows are sober, we want to stay in ! Staff people are so smiley and helpful. Next time I won't hesitate to go there again. Such a lovely place and people 

I do not agree with the latest reviews. We, family with 3 children, enjoyed every minute in this hotel. We had 2 rooms with a door in between. The staff is very friendly and the garden is beautiful. Rooms are very comfortable. We are travelling for 10 months now so we have seen a lot of hotels (no hostels) and this is certainly one of the better hotels we have seen. The French owner is also very friendly and can help you with all your questions.

A lovely, pretty little hotel in a lovely city. Very comfortable room in a gorgeous garden setting - the natural pool was a godsend too in sweltering weather. Great French / Cambodian feel and I was made to feel very welcome by the attentive and friendly staff. Delicious food too

I stayed there for 2 nights. The bungalow was pretty and confortable. The food was really great, local and European. The garden is really beautiful with a big natural pool. The owners are lovely and friendly. I really love spending time there and I can only recommend it 

the most beautiful place which I've never been staying before making me felt very much enjoyable.I like wood house and nice breakfast. highly recommend to this place and I would be back again on next occasion

I stayed there for 3 nights.Amazing place! The bungalow was pretty and confortable. The food western and asian were really great, local and European. The garden is really beautiful with a big natural pool. The owners and staff are lovely and friendly. I really love spending time there and I warmly recommend it 

I stayed for two nights in October 2018. We were treated like family hanging out with friendly staff at the bar and restaurant. It was truly a great experience. The restaurant also served delicious dishes. Truly a great experience

My only complaint is that we didn't stay long enough! 2 nights is too little time - not only at the very lovely Au Cararet Vert but also in Battambang itself. I highly recommend the resort though - everything was lovely - the atmosphere, the gardens, the accommodation, the food. Matthieu is an exceptional host - welcoming, informative, interesting and just lovely to chat to. His warm and gentle disposition is reflected in the ambiance of the resort and the attitude of the staff - who were also so hospitable. Thank you for such a pleasant stay Matthieu - we would love to come again and spend more time exploring your quaint town and enjoying more of your excellent hospitality

Mathew and team were absolutely lovely! We have traveled extensively in the region and our stay was by far one of the best we’ve had anywhere. The gardens are beautiful and the place has such a relaxed vibe. Truly is an oasis within Battambang. The staff were extremely helpful with all and any requests we had. The food was great value and had plenty of veg/vegan options to choose from. Mathew, the owner, checked in with us personally each day. On Valentines Day he even serenaded my wife and I during dinner with his saxophone. We didn’t want to leave! If you like low-key, small, service oriented places then look no furthe
