At 8.00 a.m, the taxi will pick you up from your Mandalay hotel and transfer you to the motorcycle store and start the 1 Day Mandalay Outskirt Riding Tour.
Once you're ready, the journey begins on the 22nd road which leads you through picturesque villages along the river in Mandalay. Both sides of the river have beautiful seasonal plants. We will stop in nearby rural communities, meet friendly locals, and learn about their interesting way of life.
You even get a chance to visit local rice fields and witness how farmers tend to their crops, and perhaps try your hand at some farming techniques. The next stop on the Myanmar tour is Royal Palace Island, Nan Daw Kyun, which is located on the banks of the Ayeyarwaddy River. Take a short break at the tea leaf salad workshops.
Then we head to Mingun to continue the short tour, where the motorbikes will be ferried on local sampan boats. Mingun is home to some of the most famous places in Burma, such as the Mingun Pagoda, the Mingun Bell, and the Myatheindan Pagoda. After that, the Myanmar tour continues to Sagaing, with stops at a few local villages en route. One of these is Koe Taung Village - a famous place for producing the best rice noodles in all of Burma.
Upon visiting Sagaing, you can choose to visit the breathtaking Uminthonze Pagoda with 45 sitting Buddha statues or the Sunooponnyashin situated on a hill. Then, lunch will be served at a nearby restaurant.
In the afternoon, you visit the Aung Myae Oo Monastic Education Center, where you can participate in some charity activities. The goal is to provide free education to poor and orphaned children on Sagaing Hill. This is a special part of Asia Private Travels!
Our last stop on the Burma trip is the U Bein Bridge, the world's longest teak bridge, offering a stunning view of the sunset. Then, ride back to Mandalay and return the bikes to the ground services team.
The Asia private tour comes to an end, hope you had an enjoyable experience!
