On the first day of the Myanmar tour, you will arrive in Yangon, with a warm welcome and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Your room will be available from 14.00 onwards.
In the afternoon, we will explore the famous Shwedagon Pagoda. This magnificent golden pagoda sits atop Singuttara Hill and is believed to have origins dating back 2500 years, housing precious relics of the Buddha's hair. Today, it is one of the world's most awe-inspiring religious structures and is a source of great pride for Myanmar. You will also have the opportunity to witness the mesmerizing beauty of the sunset over the Shwedagon Pagoda.
In the evening, enjoy a delightful welcome dinner featuring traditional Burmese cuisine at a local restaurant.

Activities: Head to the ancient capital of Bago, visit the mountain of the Golden Rock by local truck and contemplate the sunset in Mount Kyaikhtiyo.
Begin the next day of the Best of Myanmar Tour by embarking on a 2-hour drive northeast from Yangon to reach the historic capital of Bago. En route, you will have the opportunity to take in the scenic views of lush paddy fields, then visit the charming town of Kyaikhtiyo and the Kinpun base camp. In the afternoon, we will proceed to the mountain using local transportation, typically a truck or bus. If you prefer private transport, do not hesitate to arrange this with Asia Private Travel’s guide for an additional fee.
Next, you will embark on a one-hour climb to the awe-inspiring "Golden Rock," a wonder of Buddhism in Myanmar (if you're not up for the trek or have health concerns, you can opt to hire four porters to carry you in a sedan chair). This site ranks as the third most renowned Buddhist destination in Mon State, Myanmar. The gilded pagoda with an impressive 7.3 meters in height, is located on a granite boulder adorned with gold leaf lovingly placed by devotees. In the late day, weather permitting, you'll have the opportunity to witness the breathtaking sunset from Mount Kyaikhtiyo.
Transfer you back to your hotel, meals will be on your own, and spend the night at the hotel.

Activities: Enjoy sunrise from to top of Golden Rock, back to Bago, explore Shwemawdaw Pagoda, visit Kyaikpun Pagoda and British War Cemetery.
Start your morning by witnessing the mesmerizing sunrise from the peak of Golden Rock. Then, savor a delightful breakfast and walk down from the mountain. You can choose to return to your car or take a leisurely stroll on the way down to Kinpun's base camp.
Our 15-day tour in Myanmar continues to drive back to Bago. Here, we will explore the spectacular Shwemawdaw Pagoda, the highest stupa in Myanmar. On the way to explore Shwemawdaw, you can visit Kyaiktiyo which is one of the sacred pagodas in Myanmar. Don't miss the opportunity to admire the Shwethalyaung Buddha, a truly exquisite Reclining Buddha statue.
In the afternoon, the next destination of our Myanmar tour is Kyaikpun Pagoda, where you will encounter four Buddha images named Kakusandha, Konagamana, Kassapa, and Gautama. These statues are seated facing different directions, creating a unique and spiritually significant sight.
As an optional activity, you can choose to visit the British War Cemetery near Htauk Kyan on your way back to Yangon. Do not hesitate to ask us!

Bagan is renowned for its mystery landscape of over 2,000 ancient temples, making it an irresistible destination for those who want to delve into the culture and history of Myanmar and the evolution of Buddhism. We head to Nyang U Market - a marketplace that has been maintained for centuries in Myanmar. Here, you will be captivated by the vibrant array of vegetables, and fruits, and the unique sight of locals balancing baskets on their heads.
Our Burma trip continues as we pay a visit to Shwezigon Pagoda - one of the most ancient and sacred golden pagodas in Bagan, nestled in Nyang U town. We also venture deeper into the Bagan plains and discover the allure of the surrounding temples, including the magnificent Ananda Temple.
In the afternoon, the Bagan day tour takes us to a local lacquerware workshop, where you will gain valuable insights into the intricate art of lacquer painting.

Activities: Transfer to Mt Popa, visit Shwe Hlaing Village, enjoy the sunset, and back to Bagan.
One of the standout experiences in Myanmar travel involves the exploration of Mount Popa, an extinct volcano which found in the revered Popa Taungkalat monastery and situated atop a massive rocky pinnacle. The Taungkalat monastery means 'Pedestal Hill,' is famous for housing 37 Nats.
After that, we will return to Bagan by car. Along the way, you have the chance to Shwe Hlaing Village, a traditional craft village celebrated for its distinctive products derived from toddy palm trees.
The highlight of the day is the mesmerizing sunset view from the Shwesandaw Pagoda, it will deserve your waiting!

Activities: Fly to Mandalay, learn about a monk’s schooling when arriving at Sagaing Hill, visit Budda Cave, U Min Thonze Pagoda, and Soon Oo Ponya Shin Pagoda, and move to Amarapura to explore Monastery and U Bein Wooden Bridge.
Embark on a flight from Bagan to Mandalay - Myanmar's second-largest city. From there, our Burma tour heads to Sagaing Hill, where you will gain insights into the education of monks and explore the Buddha Cave, U Min Thonze Pagoda, and Soon Oo Ponya Shin Pagoda, as well as all the breathtaking Mandalay landscapes.
The culture & history tour continues to Amarapura, known as the "city of immortality." Here, we will visit the Mahagandaryone Monastery - one of Amarapura's prominent attractions, it it houses over 3000 monks who are living and studying. You also have the opportunity to take a walk on the U Bein Wooden Bridge which is a magnificent 1.2-kilometer structure constructed from teak planks and often hailed as the world's longest of its kind.
