Victoria Can Tho Resort

The hotel is located in a very quiet pleasant location. The room we had was very spacious, meticulously clean and comfortable. We had buffet breakfast in the restaurant in a beautiful dining setting. Service was excellent. Our stay was short and did not have the opportunity to use many of the amenities but will do so when we are back again.

We really enjoyed our time at Victoria Hotel. It's impressive how all the staff it's always with an eye to make your stay as best as possible. The hotel it's very nice, the rooms big and comfortable and the swimming pool area is super beautiful. We also tried some amazing food at the Hotel's restaurant.

We had a great time here. The location was great, the front is the river bank, next to the Ninh Kiều Whalf. The atmosphere was so fresh and comfortable. The resort also offer you some boat tour to explore the floating market, floating life of local people. Really good.

We stayed 3 nights in a Superior Double room. Once we arrived at the hotel we were pleasantly welcomed by the staff and asked to sit in the lovely reception area that is open to the outdoors. As they prepared the standard passport and document check-in, we received complimentary drinks and a massage on our shoulders and neck area. Wow! The hotel was very quiet and tranquil. Never noisy in all areas of the hotel. Our room was located at the centre of the hotel and it had a beautiful view looking over the pool area. The room was large and clean. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioner was working well and quiet. The bathroom was nice and clean; however there wasn't much counter space to place toiletries on. The ledge to go into the tub is quite high and thus a climb to get in and out. Need to hold on tight to the bars when getting out. 2 complimentary bottles of water are provided and they can be refilled at the bar area. There is a water dispenser at the left of the bar. They still provide new water bottles in the room whether or not you refill it. There are two pools at the hotel. We used both and it was nice and refreshing, even though the water was warm. Not busy and so lounges were always available. During happy hour, staff come around to get drink and food orders. Other times, we went to the bar or waved down a staff located at the booth by the pool. Great selection of food for breakfast. Can order eggs to your preference and also have noodle soup. Enjoyed the variety of fruits. Ate in town for lunch and had dinners at the hotel. We loved the Asian dishes at the hotel restaurant (menu in their website). Very tasty. The Hotel Manager, who also happens to be the Food Director, also greeted us and asked how our food was. That was really nice of him and he was truly interested in our comments. In fact, all the staff were very nice and pleasant. Always asking how our day was. They will mail your postcards for you too! The hotel is walking distance to the town. Really nice to walk there in the evening using the pedestrian bridge. See many of the locals on the bridge as well. We booked the nearby Floating Market river cruise with the hotel, but you have to book early if you want to use their company. They provided us with a cruise from outside their company because they were full the day we chose, but we were not disappointed, our boat driver was awesome. To get to the hotel, we booked the hotel's one day Mekong River cruise from our hotel in Ho Chi Minh City to Can Tho (offered in their website). We already did many river cruises in India, China and Northern Vietnam, so instead of a multi-day Mekong cruise, we wanted to stay several days at this hotel and did a day cruise. Great way to see the landscape, locals and area between the two towns. The driver and guide were excellent. I thank my husband for the great idea to stay here

Once at the hotel we were welcomed by the staff we received complimentary drinks, while our paperwork was being prepared. The hotel is considered “colonial” in style, and has large lobby with board games, very nice grounds and other fun quiet activities. Had a nice lunch in the restaurant, which is on the high end/quality of places to eat. The rooms have great view of pools and grounds. Staff is quiet and efficient and always ready to help. Great selection of food at breakfast buffet, including eggs to order. This is a first class hotel. We only had one night in Can Tao, but two or three at this hotel would be have been welcome. Bonus: if you like to walk or run, there is sidewalk on river going both directions from hotel. The hotel is walking distance to the town, which is quite the spot for both locals and tourists, and there is nice path on river along with very modern pedestrian bridge (no motor bike, no cars)

We have visited VCT frequently since its beginning. We took family, visiting from the USA, on this trip, and we continued to enjoy the hotel and its Longanier Restaurant. We found charm, cleanliness and excellent service as we expected. We also found tranquility next to the great Mekong River, and a touchback to the bygone colonial flair. We will certainly return here as our base every time we visit this Delta.

Terrific Breakfast, two clean large unoccupied pools. AC was hit or miss, but overall the experience at this hotel was wonderful. Very friendly staff and easy check in process. Most spoke pretty good english. Would love to visit again. Free bikes to use, cool pedestrian bridge to walk over in the 7 minute walk into town.

After 4 hours of crazy traffic coming from Ho Chi Minh airport you arrive in a lush and peaceful oasis of green. Beautiful gardens and quite an impressive building in front of you. In a good way, it is a reminder of the colonial time. Large open space with shiny flooring, dark woods, spacious and airy. Very good service from the concierge and the reception. Majestic staircase distributing the 2 floors. The room was spacious with a view on the pools and the garden. All the usual amenities, comfortable bedding and good sound proofing. Turn down service offered. The breakfast is of good standard. The staff is efficient and very present. The beautiful garden is leading to the hotel pier and a long walking path alongside the Mekong river. Highly recommended.

Fabulous hotel right in the middle of the Mekong Delta. It's lush with beautiful flowers and plants. It is very near the river with a lovely walk into the town. The room was very comfortable and lush. Our evening meal was western-style and utterly delicious. We were here as part of a tour and only stayed one night but I would have liked to stay longer to soak in the relaxing atmosphere. There are two pools with lovely loungers which I did not get to enjoy. This is a very relaxing place surrounded by greenery and I would love to visit again.

Victoria Can Tho was a wonderful escape from Saigon. It was so quiet that we could hear the bullfrogs and crickets while walking around at night. The staff were very friendly and helped us book our bus back into the city. The grounds are clean and well maintained.
