Trang An Retreat

A lovely hotel run by a friendly family. You can rent bicycles and scooters with the fare. Good food. Breakfast is served as an à la carte, but you can only choose one option so if you are a big eater you won't be enough. The hotel is a bit isolated but you can have a nice dinner for a small price in the hotel.

For only $ 27, I love these things? Plus 2 kls. laundry Plus 2 1. 5 L of water Plus a private car to pick up from the retreat to the Limousine bus stop and a private car from central Hanoi to my dormitory? They really take care of their tourists, a great service (they arrange everything, just relax and be happy) Thanks Trang An Retreat for the unforgettable and wonderful experience ????

The hotel is excellent and the location is very good. The staff, especially Mr. Dat, are very kind, helpful and patient. They give you all kinds of information about places to visit. Room is comfortable and very clean. We like the food served in the restaurant inside the hotel. They also have motorbikes and bicycles to rent. I will be back for sure.

We were impressed by all the amenities and great attention of this hotel. We stayed here for 3 nights and it was great! Including breakfast (They even cook breakfast for us at 6am because we have to leave earlier!), Nice pool, many TV channels to relax at night (I even have Can watch Game of Thrones when they have HBO!)

Our experience at Trang An Retreat was wonderful. The hotel is located in the more natural Trang An area in Ninh Binh, near the pier going to Trang An Nature Reserve. The hotel has separate modern rooms / bungalows and a pool (ideal for refreshing in the morning while visiting the area). The hotel also offers free scooters and bicycles, as well as private car services. We went through several hotels while visiting the area and Trang An Retreat was undoubtedly the hotel with the best location and the best designed. Special thanks to the hotel management team / family for supporting us and helping with sightseeing, transportation and meal information. If you are visiting Ninh Binh, we definitely recommend you to stay in Trang An Retreat!

The view is great, the rooms are clean and overall this place is very peaceful and quiet. Great location if you plan to ride a motorbike to the city. The food there is very basic but delicious. Offer.

Just checked out of this small family resort and I fully enjoyed my time here. Located in a very quiet area but close enough to all the main attractions. The bungalow was great, the view from the resort was very nice and the staff were friendly and the staff great. Speak English fluently by staff and always there to provide any assistance. Breakfast is included and very substantial with a wide selection of Asian and Western. The pool area is very nice and the entire campus is very well maintained. They rent motorbikes if you want but I only take advantage of the free bikes to travel and work very well. At checkout, I was told that I could continue using the facilities because my train to Hanoi was not until 5pm. They even have a shower if you want to hang around at the pool.

This is a truly secluded retreat, as you can find in Vietnam. The room was really clean and comfortable and the staff were very helpful and accomodating. We used free bikes for two days in a row and they were quite useful, even though they were really old. We recommend this place if you want quiet and clean rooms.

Our time at Trang An Retreat was very short but sweet. The hospitality is unparalleled and we will come back only to meet new friend Dat, who worked there. He was a great host and was basically a tour guide when he gave great hints about what to do in town. The facility is very clean and has a stunning view. Our proposal is to rent a scooter ($ 5 USD / day), go around and see, take a boat tour and end with sunset at the cave view.

Spacious and beautiful room - lots of windows. Bicycles are free. The staff (owned by the family) are very friendly and accommodating. The food is delicious! The retreat is close to attractions but still quiet and exotic. Would recommend to anyone visiting Nihn Binh.
