Overview

Phoum Rumduol is a small set of 7 bungalows located 300 meters or 10 minutes on foot from Kampot train station and 5 minutes by tuk tuk or taxi from the city center. The "Phoum" is in the middle of a country setting surrounded by rice fields, coconut and sugar palm trees and has free private parking.

The guest house offers 6 bungalows of 17 m2 and 1 bungalow of 25 m2. All rooms are spacious and equipped with a large double bed or two large twin beds, air conditioning, fan, toilet and private bathroom with hot and cold water shower, electric kettle, refrigerator, screen TV with cable. dish.

We stayed here for three days and had the best time. The owners were so friendly and kind and helped us with all kind of arrangements. If we wanted to swim at 10 PM, the lights were turnd on, if we needed a tuk-tuk or taxi, a phonecall was made, when we came back very dirty from the cave, our clothes were washed, scooters could be rented and we got good advice for restaurants, trips etc. The bungalows were perfect and the whole setting just outside town was lovely. If I go back to Kampot, I will definitely go back here. Thank you very much

A great place with caring owners who took care of us every second of our stay. The bungalows are spacious and surrounded by flowers. Everything is well maintained and clean. Breakfast was reasonable. Highly recommended

Stayed here with my girlfriend for 5 nights whilst visiting Kampot. There are 7 beautiful little bungalows in a small complex just over a mile from the town centre. The owners and staff are very friendly and make you feel very welcome. There is also a swimming pool just for the complex itself. We shall definately be staying here during our next visit. We have stayed here twice and both times have been so impressed. Makara and Neary the owners cannot do enough for you they go far and beyond. Really good bungalows spacious very clean and outside seating private area with the bungalow. Excellent breakfast and a small menu for lunch and dinner. A great very clean pool with the best sun loungers I have ever seen (very large). Gardens are beautiful they grown there own vegetables and some fruit. Very quiet and peaceful. Only 5 minutes away from the main town Makara will always get you a TukTuk. Kampot is full of excellent restaurants too many to choose from.

A quiet, secluded, family-owned resort, away from the noise of the city centre. The staff is really awesome, starting with the owner. Very friendly and eager to help, Makara is very welcoming and always has a good advice to give. He will personally take care of your various needs and demands (laundry, bus tickets, tuktuk..,). Plus, he speaks a very good french 😊 The bungalows are charming, cozy and well equipped. Breakfast is very good. The pool is clean and tidy. A great stay
