"We really enjoyed our third cruise with Pandaw. As expected, the crew were highly competent, very friendly and keen to please. Every meal was beautifully presented and a delight to the taste buds. Cabins are small but the beds are comfortable. If available, select a cabin towards the front of the vessel; they are quieter. Because of the low water level we were transferred to a shallower draft “slow boat” for the last day’s approach to Vientiane. This was comfortable and an excellent buffet lunch was provided We recommend Pandaw without hesitation."

"My wife and I have just returned from our second Pandaw trip. Our first was on the Upper Irrawaddy in Myanmar and this one was on the Mekong in Laos. To say - in both cases - that this is a sublime way to travel would be an understatement. Everything about the boats, the crews, the service, the food, etc. is absolutely wonderful. Make no mistake, this is a small boat with very few passengers - we only had 13 on our trip through Laos. The great thing about this is that you get to meet some super interesting people as a trip on a small boat in Asia is generally not what one does for their first rodeo. We can't wait for our next Pandaw trip"
