After breakfast, we will visit some exceptional attractions in Luang Prabang like the Royal Palace, Wat Xiengthong's Buddhist temples. At these marvelous constructions, you can learn more about Lao architecture, Buddhism, and history.

Lunch will be served onboard. The ship starts to sail downstream to visit one of the most famous waterfalls of Laos - Kuang Si.

Afterwards, keep cruising to Oudomxay Province.

Upon arrival in Pak Tha, take your time to observe the life of the local and then, we will sail along the Namtha River on a long tail boat to the community of Khmu ethnic group. There, you can visit the local small school and observe the people's customs and lifestyles. 

This afternoon, we cruise to the Laos - Thai border at Huay Xai - Chiang Khong.

We are ready for the tour to the Golden Buddha of Sop Ruak and the Hall of Opium at the Golden Triangle in Chiang Saen. These places have it owns interesting features to attract tourists. Under the support of the Thai royal family, this museum holds diverse historical artifacts, images and the politics of the opium trade. If you would like to learn about the history of Thailand, this is one ideal place.
