Meet our guide in Luang Prabang airport and be transferred to the city center. This afternoon,check - in your cruise and start your excursion to this beautiful town.

For the panorama of the entire beautiful city, which antique and modern features blends, we will have a short walk up to the Phou Si mountain.

As the evening comes, we will have a relaxing stroll along the Mekong River and observe the scene around. While wandering, you can catch the image of Laotian daily lifestyle and learn their customs. Or you can have a closer look at the ethnic minority life: the people of Hmong by joining the bustling market. After that, enjoy your welcome dinner onboard with a wide selection of Asian and Europe cuisine.

After breakfast, we will visit some exceptional attractions in Luang Prabang like the Royal Palace, Wat Xiengthong's Buddhist temples. At these marvelous constructions, you can learn more about Lao architecture, Buddhism, and history.

Lunch will be served onboard. The ship starts to sail downstream to visit one of the most famous waterfalls of Laos - Kuang Si.

We are going to have an easy time on deck. Wake up to catch the very first sunlight and to sunbathe. Then, we will arrive at a lovely small riverside village, where you can have a glimpse at the plain locals’ lifestyle. Then, disembark and start for the new fantastic trip inland. If you love the majestic beauty of one remarkable Pak Ou cave, you can join the group and trek through the mysterious forest.

Or make the journey easy by taking a boat ride. The Pak Ou cave has far been one of the most popular tourist attractions in Laos with thousands of Buddha images in various shapes and sizes. Take your time to explore the cave and shoot some awesome photos.

Afterwards, keep cruising to Oudomxay Province.

This afternoon, we cruise to the Laos - Thai border at Huay Xai - Chiang Khong.

We are ready for the tour to the Golden Buddha of Sop Ruak and the Hall of Opium at the Golden Triangle in Chiang Saen. These places have it owns interesting features to attract tourists. If you would like to learn about the history of Thailand, this is one ideal place.

Mekong Pearl Cruise Policy

1. Deposit

  • Cancellations made 130 days or more prior to departure: charge 30% of total price
  • Cancellations made 130 to 70 days or more prior to departure: charge 50% of total price
  • Cancellations made 70 to 35 days or more prior to departure: charge 70% of total price
  • Cancellations made less than 35 days or more prior to departure: charge 90% of total price

2. Payment Conditions

  • In order to make a booking, 30% of deposit is required. The full payment must be completed 45 days before the departure. Failure will result in cancellation of the booking.
  • For overdue bills, 5% of the interest per month will be applied. Top Mekong Cruises takes zero responsibilities for bank surcharges for international transactions. Bank surcharges must be paid by the money sender.
  • Our bank details will be advised depend on confirmation of your reservation. Overseas payment shall be done by telegraphic transfer. Credit Card payment is also acceptable with an additional 3% of the invoicing amount.
