" Very interesting excursions in the morning and afternoon along the Mighty Mekong River. The crew were delightful and went out of their way to ensure that we had a great time. The food was good, and varied. - Bear in mind that the food is Asian, which we love . The boat was not full, and there was lots of space both in the sun and in the shade. I do not normally like the idea of cruises, but this was a great way to seen Cambodia and Vietnam..."

"Along with the land tour, we traveled on a 7-night cruise on the Mekong Navigator and, once again, this was flawlessly executed. As to the land tour, the sights visited were directly on point and as advertised, travel arrangements were well done and every element of the tour was meticulously organized. In particular, our tour director (Binh) performed in an exceptional manner. The hotels on the land portion of the tour (Hanoi, Siem Reap and Saigon) were also excellent. As to the cruise portion of the tour, the food was great, our "prestige suite" met our expectations (although the quarters were a bit smaller than a suite on a sea-going cruise ship) and the staff was truly remarkable. From the waiters, to the "butlers," to the people who cared for our cabin, genuine friendliness was the standard - at all times. I also note the Uniworld representative (Roberto) on the cruise was present almost "everywhere" and was very helpful. "

"It was a very nicely arranged compact space with a good bathroom. The beds were very comfortable and had crisp white sheets-my favorite"

" The first good sign was the boat had very high end finishes. Immediately I found the Cambodian crew to be smiling and anxious to please, certainly a rarity today. Our precious butler, Samoun, was always looking after us like on the first tour day he delivered our forgotten tour radios before we disembarked. We were greeted every day from the dining room to the bar/loung with lovely attentive service. Our creature comforts were well taken care of by a comfortable cabin, spacious bath and inviting outdoor & indoor seating areas. But the real outstanding feature of the boat was the fabulous food service. I happened on the director and the chef one day at the lunch buffet and told them the food quality was as good as our favorite Crystal Serenity. The director understood the praise but said his young Cambodian chef would not get the comparison. If you are lucky enough to be able to visit this fascinating and authentic part of our world, I hope you have the privilege of being on this outstanding river cruise boat."

"We returned only a week ago from a tour/cruise package of Viet Nam and Cambodia. This included a wonderful seven days aboard the Mekong Navigator, a luxurious riverboat, that sailed from just below Saigon up to Cambodia, near Siem Reap, which is inland. The ship was superbly comfortable and inviting. The lounges, airy outside porches, dining room, and state rooms were excellent, we felt. Food was plentiful, very sumptuous and attractive, with both Eastern Vietnamese/Cambodian or Western choices for every meal. Local alcohol was complimentary as well as wine and beer at mealtimes. Crew was ever so nice. The Vietnamese people seemed to appreciate our visiting their farms, markets, and islands, where we stopped. The Cambodian people seemed even younger and just charming in all ways. Many of them are trying to learn English and enjoyed hearing it from our interactions. The (free) tours of the countrysides were outstandingly authentic, rustic, and seemed to show life as it is in these villages. (We used Emerald Waterways who also were splendidly personable and took good care of us all through the 18 days of travel.) And most importantly, our beloved guides in this part of the river cruise (God bless them!), saw us through thick and thin with personality, solid English, and patience!"
