"The rest of a quiet cruise that contrasts with the excitement of the city just right there on the right bank. The contrast also with life on the other side where time is frozen like a return 80 years back. Cruise so to do and nothing more to complain about the staff, hospitality and catering, a simple barbecue but good. The price of the correct drinks and the moose cocktail. We had a nice evening"

"We spent 3 nights and 4 days cruising the Mekong in to Cambodia on the Jayavarman cruise ship and we did not want to leave. The staff were fabulous and our butler Mayo was an absolute gem. The food was exceptional and we stayed in the Signature suite which came with its own butler. The suite was just gorgeous. I could not recommend this cruise high enough."

"Booking last minute and unsure what to expect, we choose a three night/ four day cruise on The Heritage Lines Jayavarman, -(Pearl of the Orient, Phenom Penh to Ho Chi Min) , and as cruise novices we could not have made a better choice of travel to go from Cambodia to Vietnam. We might be new to cruising, but enjoy high quality travel and the Jayavarman did not disappoint. From our initial welcome on board , we felt a little like being in an Agatha Christie movie, the boat reminiscent of the days of Miss Marpel or Poirot.....small, intimate and because there were only 28 guests, we very quickly gelled with other guests. The crew were superb, nothing was too much trouble, they were funny, enjoyed a joke with the guests and you could see their visable and genuine rapport with everyone...... they appeared to enjoy their work and it showed. Food was excellent, varied, quality and plenty of choice, we were well spoiled. Accomodation,..... we choose to upgrade to a Deluxe Stateroom double cabin and we enjoyed the extra space and made good use of the small balcony, relaxing whilst enjoying the passing scenery. The room was comfortable, very clean, and had a good bathroom with powerful shower. Without doubt , the excursions were thoroughly memorable and our guide Mr Tri was excellent .....always enthusiastic, informative, humerous and extremely knowledgable. And as first time visitors to Cambodia and Vietnam, we felt very privileged to visit tiny villages that were so natural, unspoiled, and where you could see the locals still found visitors fascinating, and were happy to see us.......we watched them engage in local crafts such as weaving mats, fish farming and visited an amazing local market......has to be seen to be believed! We are definitely planning to return to Vietnam and will look forward to the launch of The Heritage Lines new vessel to further explore this region.  "

"Faultless, punctual and amazing value for money even by Phnom Penh standards. We were fed, tasty vegetarian food, (by choice), a much needed escape from it's full on Capital. Silk island was interesting even though I'm not really a consumer, (own just 1 item being a silk tie). You should take a few Dollar bills for tips, all well deserved, very memorable."
