"Amazing cruise on the Mekong! Visiting the back end of the country is very different than going from one big city to the other. We were able to see how people live and in what conditions the are living in."

"We went on a journey from Ho Chi Minh to Siem Reap. Wonderful trip. The ship is lovely, we have a huge owner suite and allow us to enjoy a lot of privacy. The staff were very helpful, the tours were well organized and the guided tours were a lot of fun. The food is special and delicious. It is hard to fault. Vietnam and Cambodia must see the destination. Lovely people, lovely cultures. Their history is quite shocking but everyone's resilience will touch you"

"What a fabulous trip! This 8 day trip from Saigon to Siem Reap is just wonderful. The crew are dedicated, friendly, thoughtful and just so caring. The food, especially the lunches and dinners are outstanding. The cabins are cozy, have room to store luggage and fit every need. The ensuite bathrooms are fine too. The sundeck, where you spend most time on board is spacious, has great views of the river and the 24/7 tea and coffee is very welcome, as is the bar, of course! Our guide Mimea is the best in the world. She was full of information, is tireless, thoughtful, charming, funny and so endearing. She made our trip an educational adventure. The excursions were so well researched. We visited small industries, villages, temples, islands, small waterways and all the while Mimea was with us and talking, explaining and sharing her wealth of information. How lucky we are to have had such an experience of Vietnam and Cambodia."

"Just returned from 3 months of travelling and felt compelled to write about my experience on the Mekong. I booked the 8 day cruise on the Toum Tiou 2 cruises from Siem Reap to Saigon. The boat itself was fantastic- great decor, spacious and clean rooms and crew who were fantastic throughout the trip. The itinerary itself was authentic and exactly what I was looking for from such a cruise. Additionally, it must be said that the cruise director/guide was not only enthusiastic and friendly, but extremely knowledgeable. This along with a boat capacity of 24 (which was ideal- not too large or too small) all contributed to a great experience. The food was extremely tasty There were lots of interesting and varied visits, from visiting a school to touring the floating villages- all were delightful. What was most pleasing is that for the most part we kept away from the touristy areas, which made the cruise all the more original. Would definitely recommend a tour along the magical Mekong river!"
