Welcome to the Myanmar holiday with Asia Private Travels!
In the morning, the guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel in Mandalay. Then the Burma tour will head south of Mandalay for about 1.5 hours to Kyauk Se, where the renowned annual elephant-dance festival takes place.
After that, you will explore the Shinpin Tamoke Shwegu, which was built by King Anawrahta in the 11th century. It was recently unearthed in 2009 with its exquisite carvings, making it a unique and stunning sight to contemplate on this short journey. Don't miss the chance to visit the local market; this will offer you insights into the area's commerce and culture.
The afternoon tour in Myanmar continues to the serene town of Paleik, renowned for its snake temple. The ivy-covered 300 temples from the Ava era add to the town's charm and stand as true treasures. To immerse yourself further in the local culture and way of life, you will have the opportunity to visit a Buddhist monastery and a nearby village.
After ending a day exploring Mandalay – Kyaukse – Paleik – Mandalay, you'll return to Mandalay by car. Please note that lunch and dinner arrangements are on your own.
Asia Private Travels says goodbye to you!
