Day-01 Bagan Arrival - Sightseeing
Kick off your Bagan Private Tour at 8:00 a.m. as Asia Private Travels guides and drivers pick you up from your hotel.

First, tourists will experience the lively atmosphere of Nyaung U Market and observe the daily routines of the nearby village residents.

Then, you admire the nearby Shwezigon Pagoda embellished with golden leaves and learn about the culture & history of Myanmar.

Your trip to highlights of Bagan continues at the striking Htilominlo Temple, an architectural masterpiece made of red brickwork and captivating plaster moldings.

Next, you will visit the Ananda Temple. While en route, take a moment to appreciate some of the nearby temples on the Bagan plains. The temple's design features a cross shape with a series of terraces leading up to a small pagoda at the top. This pagoda is crowned by an umbrella known as “hit”, a common ornament found on most pagodas in Myanmar.

Day-02 Bagan Sightseeing
Keep on your second-day Bagan City Tour at 8:30 a.m. with a visit to the Sulamani Temple near Minnathu Village. Here, you can take in its stunning craftsmanship of intricate design, detailed carvings, and captivating murals that date back to the 12th century.

Explore the other stunning temples of Bagan to explore more culture & history in Myanmar, with their intricate carvings and exquisite murals. Don't miss the impressive Dhammayangyi Temple, the largest temple in Bagan, widely known as "Dhammayan".

If time permits during the Burma tour, be sure to check out the lacquerware store in Myinkabar village. You'll have the opportunity to witness the intricate process of crafting these delicate items.

Additionally, there are several noteworthy sites in the area that are worth visiting, such as Gubyaukgyi Temple, which boasts impressive stuccowork, Nanpaya Temple - known for its elaborate stone carvings in the Mon style, Manuha Pagoda, featuring large Buddha statues, and the Stupa with Myanmar's "Rosetta Stone".

Day-03 Bagan - Mt. Popa - Bagan
On the third day of the Bagan tour, you'll be starting off with breakfast at 8:30 a.m.

Afterward, you'll be heading to Taung Kalat, which is a Buddhist monastery situated on Mount Popa, an extinct volcano that reaches 1518 meters in height. Mount Popa has always been an important part of Myanmar's culture, religion, and history. The shrine located on the mountain is dedicated to the worship of the 37 Nats, which are the ancient animist spirits of Myanmar.

While you climb the stairs to the mountain's peak with Asia Private Travels’ local guide, you'll also have the opportunity to learn about nats and nat worship. The view from the top of the volcanic mountain is breathtaking and overlooks the Mying.

Next, we'll head back to Bagan with a one-hour ride. Along the way, we'll make a stop at a nearby town where you can witness the fascinating process of producing wine and molasses from palm tree fruits.

After that, we can take you to your hotel in Bagan for some rest or to the airport for your departure. It’s the end of your Bagan Private Tour.
