Day 1
GOLDEN TRIANGLE

Our driver will pick you up either at the airport or at your hotel in Chiang Rai or Chiang Mai. Before embarking on the cruise, we will have a chance to visit several famous places in Chiang Saen. Get excited when you are contemplating the panorama of the Golden Triangle and the opium museum.

At 4:00 PM, our cruising tour will begin. You will be transferred to the pier and check in the RV Champa Pandaw Cruise. Around sunset, we shall be at the Myanmar boundary to enjoy the spectacular scenery.

GOLDEN TRIANGLE
Day 2
INTO LAOS

Upon our arrival at the Thai-Laos border, we will have to fill up the paper of custom before crossing. Afterward, we head towards the Upper Mekong, passing through scenic views. Time goes so fast when we enjoy some wonderful things. 

The staff will deliver the best dishes of Laos for the delightful lunch. On the tour to Laos villages in the forest, we will have an authentic look to the life of indigenous and enjoy the spectacular natural view.

INTO LAOS
Day 3
PAK OU CAVES

Our first tour starts in the morning. You will be taken to the Pak Beng trading town; you can witness the interesting crowds of trading and the lifestyle of the busy bees in the area. Join the fun before we hopping on the local boat and start our new trip. When flowing on the peace and silent Nam Ou river, we will stop at one holy Buddhist sanctuary of Pak Ou.

Things can be more fantastic with magnificent Buddha Caves and limestone carvings.

PAK OU CAVES
Day 4
LUANG PRABANG

When the sun shines its very first light over the terrain, we have already reached Luang Prabang – a substantial beautiful ancient city. The city is famous for the impressive constructions that have existed for a long time; for example, libraries, holly Buddhist stupas, and the charming Royal Palace.

Explore the city in your own way after breakfast and save many awesome memories. In daylight, Luang Prabang shines with its famous buildings and the bustling life of the citizens. When the night comes, it gets bustling in the expand night markets, elegant restaurants, gorgeous coffee shops, and outdoor bars/clubs.

Just leave everything behind and blend in the fun crowds; you will have a memorable experience tonight.

LUANG PRABANG
Day 5
LUANG PRABANG

Luang Prabang has so many wonderful things to keep us back. Very soon in the morning, the most impressive scene in the city of ancientness will take place: Alms Giving Ceremony. Make sure you wake up on time to observe hundreds of monks walking around the area and receiving the offerings from the people.

Tourists can also join the ceremony with the offerings we provide. The ceremony takes place for a couple of hours, and then, we will head back to the RV Champa Cruise to watch the traditional dance of Laos.

In mid-afternoon, let’s enjoy the vibrant shows on the boat and relax at your leisure. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

LUANG PRABANG
Day 6
MUANG KHAY VILLAGE

Today morning, you will be transferred on a minibus to get to the sightseeing spot. Upon arrival, we will pay a visit to Khuang Si waterfall – one of the most spectacular waterfalls in Laos, the butterfly farm and the elephant camp. Lunch is carefully served on board. After charging your body’s energy, attend the cooking demonstration to understand more about Lao cuisine.

The night is so silent on the river flow but a wonderful moment to enjoy the atmosphere and the scene entirely. Take your time contemplating the view on the Mekong River.

MUANG KHAY VILLAGE
Day 7
XAYABURI DAM

Today itinerary is pretty light. In the morning, we will pass by the water dam of Mekong: the Xayaburi Hydro Electric Power Plant. The construction is huge to admire.

In the late afternoon, we will stroll to a local village, who plainly, beautifully live the life despite the hushing growth of the 21st society.

Day 8
PAK SAO

Near Thailand-Laos border, situated a tranquil, rustic village: Ban Pak Huang. We shall visit the village in the morning. Though the village is small, it has beautiful customs and an interesting local lifestyle.

Not stop right there; we will proceed to Pak Sao – a plantation village. In the village, you will learn about numerous herbal, plants and relaxing talk with the locals.

Day 9
VIENTIANE

While heading to Vientiane, our cruise will flow through nature’s paradise. A picture of mountains, evergreen forests, and the rushing river always creates a spectacular sight. Especially the rock formation along the riverbanks is the perfect factor in a stunning natural site. After a pleasant couple of hours contemplating the breathtaking scenery, we will arrive in Vientiane province’s cultivated plains.

Then, behold the city of history: Vientiane. As it has already around mid-afternoon, you are free at your leisure. Discover the city and the marvelous French-style buildings in your own way.

Day 10
VIENTIANE

Vientiane is always an ideal attraction to admire the skillful constructions of Laotian and French from  the President’s Hall, the antique Wat Prakeo and Wat Sisaket and Patuxai monument. After that, you may want to have a drink at some lovely café, bistros in L’Indochine.

At night, the crew will prepare some farewell activities as this is your last night on the RV Champa Pandaw Cruise.

Day 11
VIENTIANE

You will have the last breakfast of the trip and then pack your luggage, and disembark the ship. As soon as you arrive at the Vientiane pier, you will be escorted to the airport or at one hotel in Vientiane/ Udon Thani in Thailand. Goodbye, and we hope to see you soon!

RV Champa Pandaw Policy 

1. Adjustment of Schedule and Cruise Itinerary: We try our best to make sure that everything follows closely to the published schedule. Should uncertain river and other local condition happen, all schedules and itineraries maybe consider for alterations and delays at short notice

2. Change Point of Embarkation and Disembarkation: We are not liable to bear any extra cost of transporting passengers to and from the reconsidered point of getting on or getting off the cruise unless clients or their agents have purchased a complete package tour that include land services from us. As so, any other reason for changing the points of embarkation and disembarkation cannot regard as a reason for cancelling the contract.

3. Fuel Surcharge: Fuel costs have been calculated on average prices on passengers’ tickets. If fuel prices rise by more than 10% , we will impose a fuel supplement fee which equivalent to the amount that exceeds the price for this contract.

4.Deposit
          4.1. For Booking with Less than 10 Cabins

  • If a booking is made more than 95 days before departure date, a 30% non-refundable deposit must be made at the time of booking. Balance must be made at least 70 days prior departure.
  • If a booking is made less than 95 days but more than 35 days before departure date, a 75% non-refundable deposit must be made at the time of booking. Balance must be made at least 35 days prior departure.
  • If a booking is made less than 55 days before departure date, full fare payment must be accomplished within 48 hours.

          4.2 For Booking from 10 Cabins and More

  • If a booking is made more than 155 days before departure date, a 30% non-refundable deposit must be made at the time of booking. The other 30% is made 95 days prior departure. Balance must be made at least 70 days prior departure.
  • If a booking is made more than 155 days but more than 95 days before departure date, a 30% non-refundable deposit must be made at the time of booking. The other 30% is made 95 days prior departure. Balance must be made at least 70 days prior departure.
  • If a booking is made less than 95 days before departure date, a 75% non-refundable deposit must be made at the time of booking. Balance must be made at least 70 days prior departure.

5. Cancellation by Us:

In case we are unable to provide cruise services to passengers with confirmed bookings or departures where occupation is less than 5 cabins, we retain the right to cancel the trip giving all guests with confirmed bookings 30 days prior notice of this intention. An alternative cruise ship or an alternative departure date will be provided to availability. Any surcharges or dissimilarity in cruise prices will be reimbursed or born by us.

If the alternative date or the vessel is not acceptable to the passenger, we will refund any down payments made for the cancelled cruise. In the event that passengers have cancelled and paid cancellation fees and later on we cancel that departure, then any cancellation fees and down payment will be refunded in full on the request of the passengers.

6.Cancellation by Customer:

      6.1. For Booking with Less than 10 Cabins

  • Cancellations made 70 days or more prior to departure: charge 30% of total price
  • Cancellations made 50 to 69 days or more prior to departure: charge 50% of total price
  • Cancellations made 35 to 49 days or more prior to departure: charge 75% of total price
  • Cancellations made less than 35 days or more prior to departure: charge 100% of total price

       6.2. For Booking from 10 Cabins and More

  • Cancellations made 90 days or more prior to departure: charge 30% of total price
  • Cancellations made 65 to 89 days or more prior to departure: charge 50% of total price
  • Cancellations made 35 to 64 days or more prior to departure: charge 75% of total price
  • Cancellations made less than 35 days or more prior to departure: charge 100% of total price

â–º If cancellations happen, wire fees and credit card commissions will be subtracted when calculating refunds.

7. Children Price and Extra Bed: Infants below the age of 5 can accompany with their parents’ cabin though we can’t guarantee the availability of cots. Children above 5 years old should be charged 30% of total cabin rate with a bed.

8. Insurance: We strongly counsel passengers to purchase trip cancellation insurance. With this, you will be repaid the cost of air tickets and other non-refundable trip payments. In case of bad situation, we also encourage guests to get international medical, baggage loss and delay insurance. We take no responsibility for your lost or stolen belongings.

9. Dietary Needs: Those who have the need for special dietary should contact us at least 30 days prior until embarkation. We will try our best to provide special dietary needs and request that base on product’s availability.

10.Travelers’ Responsibilities: All who are on board the cruiser must take responsibilities towards other passengers as well as the crew members. We expect you to review the conditions of the trip itinerary, observe all safety requirements (on board and on excursions) and show proper social behavior to anyone on board.
